Best Falafel in the city!
Title says it all best falafel. Fresh baked pita (not from a package) Fantastic pepper sauce. Great salads. I put their fresh falafel and fresh pita against any in the city. Haven't found better yet.

Best Middle-Eastern food in Brooklyn Heights
We have ordered from Fatoosh for many years now, know the Atlantic Ave. area very well, have lived in the Middle East, and this is by far the most authentic and tasty food we have had here. The salads are better than can be found at any restaurant or famous deli in the area, by far. Only one small critique: The grilled meats tend to be a bit overcooked, but still with plenty of taste. The people are extremely warm and kind, and the service is always excellent when taking out. It is a small place, so it is far better to take out or have it delivered to enjoy the many and varied fresh salads, huge spinach pie, and other tasty and generous dishes at home or as a picnic.

Pleasantly surprised
My wife and I have driven by this place for years and wondered if it was any good. So one Saturday after returning from Governor's Island, we walking in and had a look around. There are only 4 table. We had a taste for Middle Eastern food so ordered a fatoosh, which is a salad, and the gyro platter. Wow! The food was great! The fatoosh was very fresh. The platter came with some wonderful rice, some grilled veggis, nice chunks of well-seasoned meat, some hummus and another sauce that was red and spicy (I wasn't sure what it was), and two huge, hot pieces of flatbread. There was plenty of food and it was very tasty. The hummus was very creamy. We will go there again.

Avoid!
The delivery took forever and when it finally arrived, the order was wrong. The food was stale, cold and unremarkable. Also, the delivery man demanded cash when I paid with a credit card over the phone. Terrible experience overall and a waste of money.

Yumm!
The food here is really good. As far as I know the store off of Hick st. is not the nicest, but its a great place to order out from. They have delish middle eastern, one of the best in the area. Highly recommend it for a adventurous eater!

Overweight Fatoosh Lover!!
Hey Dan I happen to be overweight and I still love Fatoosh. The salads are always fresh. The sandwichs are light and delicious!!! I do care about want I put in my body and I love good food therefore I find Fatoosh to be a unique and refreshing change to fast food and diner style meals that are so prevalent all over NYC.

Fresh Great Food!!!
I go to Fatoosh II. It is located on 5th. Avenue off the corner of 9th. Street in Brooklyn. The food is just simply fresh and delicious! The people there are friendly and the service is great. The food, ahh, the food is addictive. People who eat here seem to care of what they are putting in their body. I haven't seen any over-weight people there yet. It is just simply GOOD FOOD!
