    Underdelivers

I've heard and read great reviews about this 'legendary' pizzeria, but sadly don't see where it's coming from. The pizza was decent, but hardly warrants the rave reviews some have written. Expensive prices = low value, cheap mozzarella, sweet sauce, and overly dry dough = a less appetizing slice than the local competition. Service is sub-par. Save your dough and order some Thai Food.

    Obviously No One Knows...

what they're talking about. This place is great, the pizza, meatball parm, chicken cutlet sandwich, baked ziti with eggplant. I live up the street and anyone who knows anything knows this place is good just by the fact that it's busy all the time and cops regularly eat there. Cops don't go to places that are no good. And to the person who order the pepperoni calzone, thats not even on the menu and despite what you think, calzones aren't suppose to come with sauce.

    um...

ok so me and my roomie were starving so decided to order in from this place down the street. I ordered a pepperoni calzone and it had literally like 3 peperoni slices in it and the rest was all ricotta cheese . so basically it was a $6 piece of bread and goo. even the crust was bland. very disappointing

    but family size calzone

It's not on the menu, and it's not cheap, but the family size calzone has always been terrific. The pizza is, as other reviewers have mentioned, short on sauce and toppings and not worth it. OTOH, they're pretty much the only choice in the neighborhood.

Used to be Really Good - Not Anymore

Fascati's used to be the best pizza in town - then they came under new managment and everything went downhill. The pizza is now like dried out cardboard with barely any sauce or cheese on the slices. Further, not only do they now skimp on the sauce and cheese, they raised all their prices. I'd have been happy to pay a higher price for their old style delicious pizza. However, it's ridiculous for them to think they can charge more for what is now sub-par food. Huge disappointment - they've lost my business.

Great food but I don't work there

Plain and simple, the pizza is delicious, the salads are to die for and the service is just short of exceptional (sometimes the delivery takes close to 1.5 hours but its because they are so busy making fantastic food!). The fresh tomato and mushroom pizza is definitely my favorite.

    A Real review

The place always has taxis with their engines running outside the store, and the front door is usually left open so the exhaust travels into the shop. This gives the pizza an interesting flavor.
