just OK-overpriced
We ate here a couple of nights ago for the first time. The appetizer we ordered included beets that were still frozen in the middle when they arrived. Ick. The fish I ordered - the special - was delicious - two small pieces. I did not think to ask the price as it was the special, but when the check came and I saw it was $28 I was shocked. I really thought that was not a fair price. The menu is varied-lots of choices - our server was very friendly - but not sure I would eat here again.

Good food
I've had authentic Greek food and this comes pretty close to it ... but they used way too much dill .

Not the best
Went on a Tuesday night. Disclaimer: I've never had Greek food before, but I was hoping for something flavorful and unusual. The wine was great, but unfortunately that's all the good I can say. The service was poor - the waiter kept looking away and talking to other customers while I was trying to ask questions. The food, calamari was doughy and disappointing. The fried bacalao tasted like cardboard and had no sauce. The lamb was alright, but nothing special. The cheesy music and decor didn't help. I was really looking forward to trying Greek food but I have to say that was one of the most disappointing meals I've had in Park Slope.

Pretty good, but...
This place has really got it down in terms of flavors and spices. We ordered the grilled octopus and it was divine. An area where it could improve is in its overcooked proteins. The pork chops (I know, who orders pork chops) were very overdone and the shrimp was also cooked too long. Not to mention, it tasted a bit freezer burned. But the sauces and spices they used were amazing. I will go back to try again, and hopefully the chef will have gotten the cooking times right!

Great Find
I live around the corner from this wonderful place; finally had lunch there today and regretted not having gone in sooner. GREAT food, attentive wait-staff, one of the best new places in Park Slope. Restaurants come and go in this neighborhood; this restaurant is here to stay.

Outstanding
Had dinner here with my wife, 2 year old son, and my mother. We got in early-ish at 7pm and beat the dinner rush. The restaurant was very family-friendly. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Atmosphere was very nice. We noticed an amazingly good food smell as soon as we walked in the door. We had the saginaki and octopus appetizers. Both were extremely good. My wife and I both had pasticcio and I think my mom had mousaka as our entrees - both were excellent. We'll be coming back soon.

Authentic Delicious Food!
Please ignore the flags outside and somewhat cheesy ambiance. This place has the best, most authentic Greek food I have had in NY. And I am from Greece! Very very delicious, the staff was very nice. It could be such an upscale restaurant if they changed a few things around.
