A little bite of heaven
When this place moved onto the block I was skeptical like a good New Yorker. Then of course I tried it and I have to say it is delicious. It is not New York pizza, it is Italian pizza and it is perfecto! The crust is thin and crispy/chewy and the toppings are tasty and full of flavor with not too much cheese. They also serve specials which are nice too. The only downside to this gem is the price. It is expensive and is not something I can afford everyday. It is too bad because if they lowered their prices I might go more often, like most people, I need a pizza fix 2-3 times per week. This place tastes great but is too expensive for pizza.

real Italian pizza in NYC finally!
A bite of this wonderful, light, tasty pizza and you feel like you are in Italy again. It is the real thing. I get frequent deliveries so I can share with my friends. Highly recommended.

couldn't be better
This pizzeria turns out amazing pizza with the freshest toppings. My favorites are the eggplant slice and the arugula tomato slice. The chef goes are light with the cheese which is good because the other flavors are stronger this way. And the people who work there are completely nice. It's more expensive than other pizzerias but so much better than the others.

Just waht the neighborhood needs.
This is exactly what the neighborhood needs. There are plenty of puffy-crusted, red sauce slinging, greasy pizza joints in the neighborhood. Farinella is the much needed, and welcome alternative. Thin crust pies, delicious and fresh toppings (I had mushroom and zucchini and then returned for the eggplant) as well as paninis brimming with fresh arugula and calzones begging to be bitten into. It's run by Italians who know how it should taste, and take pride in doing it right. There is no wonder why this place already has a following after being open only a few months.
