    Delicious and exquisitely prepared

I ordered dinner from Fanny;s last night, and it was truly out of this world. A whole trout ,expertly deboned (but still a whole fish, served with brown breadcrumb butter. a fennel salad with white bean puree. everything was seasoned perfectly and so fresh. I will definitely go to the restaurant next time, for the full experience. Highly recommend this gem. I Love Fanny!!!

Great food, no pretense, great value

At Fanny you can count on consistently getting great food at very decent prices. Love their pork chop and steak. The blanc manger is to die for. Wine selection is fireworks-free and honest. Great Cote-du-Rhone and Bordeaux and that's so hard to find in New York even at higher prices. Overall, great casual place.

    Love this place

I love this this place. It's not pretentious, the food is great, it's a warm atmostphere, and a good value. I've had brunch, lunch and dinner here and enjoyed every meal! It's also a nice date place.

    bland brunch

i pass by this spot everyday on my way to the train station so i decided to go check it out. food was ok, nothing to go out of the way for. i had an omelette with cheddar and bacon while my gf had the french toast. i wasn't expecting much for under $10 an entree and i didn't get much either. the real surprise was when i ordered a $7 beer and got it in what looked like a half pint glass or a red wine glass. service reminded me of a queens dinner, no hello or any extra effort to make a customer feel welcome.

    Just between friends...

We love it here. My husband & I frequent this little spot. Welcoming glasses of wine await us. Always friendly, always smiling. Unbelievable food! Their pork chop is the best. The Blanc manger is just pure bliss-inducing food. Sometimes the waitresses are ditsy... but come on! Surrounded by all those delicious aromas - would you not go into a food coma too? But just keep it quiet - this is our little neighbourhood secret!

    delicious but dissapointed

went to fanny for the first time this afternoon. the place is cute, very intimate, and the backyard is beautiful. the waiter who helped us was pretty rude. i understand the whole williamsburg/laid back thing, but come on. we received the bread with no plates. the food took forever, and we had to ask multiple times for new drinks. although the food was great and the atmosphere cute, the waiter just ruined the meal. maybe she had a bad day.
