The absolute worst
I don't understand how this Ray's pizza is still in business. It is over-priced, and the pizza is just not good. I'd rather eat frozen pizza. This neighborhood needs a basic, good quality pizza place. Please, someone help!

Not so good
Ok, 1st time ordering, but wanted something other than the usual pizza from the usual joint. My mistake. Delivery took 45 minutes - 3 blocks away! - pizza was so-so (maybe because it was cold by then), and it cost more. Lesson learned.

Not the Place for Pizza
I have been to several Rays Pizza around the city and this one is at the bottom of my list for both service and quality. First of all, they hide the plain slices under the counter so that they can make a profit on toppings by you thinking they ran out. Also, before they put in the order, you must pay in advance. I dont get that. They act like they are going to start making something and you have no money to pay for it. Also, the pizza is usually not fresh. That specific location is never busy so the slices are sitting around for quite some time. My advice is to either go to another Rays Pizza or just another pizza shop which is basically every few blocks.

Subpar Pizza
I stopped in today for a couple of slices and it was lousy. First there was no plain cheese pizza available, so I got a veggie slice and the vegtables were canned. When I got the slice the guy told me that it was already hot, but it wasn't. And the place was not clean. This pizza place has gone downhill, stay away.

Ridiculous
How can they possibly charge $13 for 2 slices and a soda!? This is pizzeria not a gourmet Italian restaurant. Way overpriced and not worth it.

Great Platters
I went to get a chicken parm platter with spaghetti and it cost $12.50. That seemed like a lot for a pizzeria, but the portion was tremendous! An entire platter of chick parm and an entire platter of pasta, plus bread. Tasty, fresh sauce and nicely melted and browned mozzarella. Enough food for two meals. The place ain't much to look at, but I always get it to go anyway. Well worth it!

Great for the Kids
A great value for hungry kids or hung over parents. The Pizza is fast and friendly even 20 blocks away!
