Great service
I came with my family to enjoy some of nyc famous pizza and I was not disappointed. The price was a little high but worth it. The service was very friendly and the time waiting for my food I conversed with the service guy for about ten minutes and I had a great conversation. This pizza place reminds me of the pizza stores you see on t.v. I will be returning soon

Meatballs?
I just ordered the meatballs with spaghetti from Rays, and sadly they were so disappointing, they were inedible!! They had the texture of paste, and had to have been made up of at least 70% breadcrumbs. No herbs, and no flavor.Paid $12 with tip for spaghetti with jarred sauce. Their pizza is great, and the staff awesome, so this was a very disappointing experience. Stick to pizza at this place!

Subpar pizza
It's amazing that New Yorkers eat here. This is the worst, by far, to bear the ubiquitous "Ray's" name, and the worst pizza on the upper west side, period. Cheap ingredients and awful pizza all-around. Go anywhere else.

Eager to please.
The staff was very attentive and patient, considering I asked alot of questions since I was from out-of-town. All of the ingredients on the mozzarella and basil pizza were fresh and the Hawaiian pizza was delicious. The individual slices were quite large and the beer was cold. According to my husband, the mild wings were hot, better than average, and were served with crisp, fresh celery and carrot sticks. The restaurant was pretty clean. We enjoyed the loud music playing while we ate our dinner. We liked the "no fuss" decor, although there were fancy curtains in the back dining area. We wish we had a place like this back home in Texas. We'll be back.

Go Some Place Else
Besides the fact that Rays pizza has gone down hill over the years no matter what location, this specific spot takes the cake. Slices sit around for awhile and they charge an arm and a leg for a slice with topping or special slice. A local would not eat here. Since its a couple of blocks from the museum, the majority of customers are tourists who dont know any better.

Great Pizza
My name is Darinka, I´m from Mexico City. Every time I visit New York City I go to eat at Famous Original Ray´s Pizza. They always have different styles of pizza´s. My favorite is Buffalo Style pizza soo cheesie and delish. You must try the Buffalo style chicken wings, So Good!!! People were very nice and friendly. The service was great!!!

The absolute worst
I don't understand how this Ray's pizza is still in business. It is over-priced, and the pizza is just not good. I'd rather eat frozen pizza. This neighborhood needs a basic, good quality pizza place. Please, someone help!
