Never again
My office works 10 blocks from the restaurant. We placed a large order and were told it would take 30 minutes which turned into 1 hour and 30 minutes. Everytime I called to follow up they either didn't pick up or when they did were very rude. There is much better pizza with a nicer staff in midtown.

Not recommended
Delivery for a small pizza and 10 wings took over an 1:10 and the pizza had obviously fallen on the way to my apt. All the toppings were on one side of the pizza. Wasn't even that good.

Pizza
Having sampled some of NYC best, I have to say I was disappointed with the quality of their pizza. I dont know if I was just the unlucky one but I simply felt that I was had in broad day light!

NY Pizza Place..
What do you want from a NY pizza place..? Fast Good Food at a Value.. Ray's was all that. 2 Specialty Slices and a Snapple was 10.00. Typical NY pizza place.

Your basic (but good) pizzeria
This was the first time I've gone to Ray's, but I was pleasantly surprised. I went around 12:45 and there was already a big lunchtime crowd waiting to order. That's pretty impressive, considering this Ray's is located on Lexington, amongst many other delis and chains. I had a buy one, get one free coupon, so I got two calzones: chicken, and spinach. So yummy... and HUGE! Mozarella and melted parmesan and breaded chicken cutlet (can't be too healthy, but ah well, ya can't win 'em all)... they warm it up for you just right. Ok so it's probably not that different from other pizzerias you see all over this city, but it'll be on my list of good cheap places to lunch! There was a little wait for my food, but I think the service was fine, considering the big crowd. I saw one guy waiting for his spaghetti for a pretty long time though, but the workers were all pretty nice. The only downside was that the sit-down area seemed kinda dingy, so I'd recommend to-go. I would definitely go back!
