    Just not good

I really tried to like Ray's. I heard great things about this specific location. And, if you're passing by, grabbing a slice is actually not bad (not great, but really not bad.) However, on a number of occasions I've ordered a whole pie for delivery, and for some reason, the pizza is just unappetizing. Maybe it loses its heat, and thus its luster, in transit, but it's just bad. There is way too much cheese and not nearly enough sauce. Maybe this ratio is what makes others love their pizza, but I found it just gross. There is way better NY pizza out there. I will say, their crust is pretty good.

This place gives NYC Pizza a bad name!

I have been to a few Ray's in NYC and they all are terrible. Chains like this give NYC Pizza a bad name. Most of the time the Pizza has been sitting there for hours and then they barely heat it up. I will never go to Ray's again.

    Great Pizza

Just got back from a vacation to NYC. Pizza was great. I will be back at Rays next time I'm in the city.

    This is not a pizzeria

I stopped there today for a late lunch and must admit I'm shocked. The chicken parmegian is superb. Served over a large bed of spaghetti AND a tossed salad. For $9.50, it's unbeatable.

    overpriced

No matter how good the pizza, $4.00 per topping for a medium pizza is an outrage. How much could it possibly cost to add olives on a pizza. At a base price of $13.50, with two ingredients at $4.00 each, it's ridiculous!

    Decent!!

Just ordered delivery from them. Cheesy garlic bread was nothing special. The pizza was definitely yummy. Not the best thing I've ever had but was delish nonetheless. =)
