    First-time customer- will be back!

The food is awesome, but the service is even better. My fiance and I had dinner for $10 total- a steal in NYC. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant appears to be clean.

    Careful what you order!!!

Everytime I got to NYC I stay in the hostel right across the street. This time I tried something different at FIM and was pretty let down. The atmosphere is nice, you feel like you are in a mexican restaraunt. Our waitresses are always very friendly and happy to help, but the food (alfredo fettucini) was awful. It was spaghetti noodles, not fettucini, and it had cut up lunch meat in it...not appetizing at all. However, the pizza is amazing, and a wonderful price for it! I recommend this place, definitely, but stay away from the alfredo and stick with their amazing pizza :-)

    great budget place

Good food for cheap. I go there at least once a week. The steak burrito is amazing!

    Best bang for your buck

This pizza here is above average, as well as their mexican food. Not much to say about the atmosphere. Great place if you're low on cash and need a decent meal,

    Cheap eat

The pizza is actually really good and cheap. I have been going to this place a little over 5 years now. I have yet to try the mexican food but next time i go that should be accomplished.

    Yummy...

So...we went to this restaurant thinking that with a name like famous italian mexican it would be delcious. Boy were we correct. Food - tasty, but the hot sauce was delcious. The food could have been crunchier. try the enchiladas suizas or the cheeseburger deluxe. Value - they charged us an extra dollar for my burger. Their menu is hard to read, for examples. in one place it says two torttillas when really they mean one taco served in an extra tortilla. example two, tortilla should be spelled tortiya for easier pronunciation . affordable, yet cheap. Service - the water comes in small cups, and tip is not included in the bill. our waitress also asked for the hot sauce back before we were finished using it. for no apparent reason. Atmosphere - too many europeans because of the hostel across the street and, not enough mexicans because we are in new york. The authentic mexican music was kick@$$.

Top class place. A good mixture of locals and tourists because there is an hostel opposite.
