Stick with the Square pie!
Honestly the Square pie with fresh mozzarella is a 5+ totally worth the sometimes slow service and $30 Just tried their their round pie tonight, greasy with little flavor. Nslowot very impressed. The round pie is average at best. Disregard the atmosphere ranking, never been there.

poor service.
The pizza used to be better but the service is always poor There is one side of the counter where you order re the other side is where you pay. Which by the way is 3 feet from each other. But I was the only one waiting to order and the guy behind the counter would not take my order or even look at me while I was waiting until 5 minutes go by and he says that you have to order from the other side of the counter. I was blown away and walked out. Will never eat there again.

Great Pizza
Best pizza in town. You have to try their sicilian pizza, it is amazing. The slice is bigger then most slices and always fresh. In the summer time you should try their gelato.

Ben's prices are outrageous
$3.65 for a pepperoni slice? Unbelievable! They've let being the only pizza place in the nabe go to their head. The prices at Ben's just keep going up and the service - well - since when is reheating a slice for nearly $4 doing me a favor?! Sadly, it is the most convenient pizza place to the playground - but I've had it - I'll make the trek to Bleecker Street for reasonable prices, reasonable service.

Off Night?
Have been coming here for years, whenever I am in the nabe. Always considered it fantastic and worth a trip. But last night...was it an off night?...a slight downturn? The usually crisp, thin crust was soggy and limp. The sauce was not up to par. The cheese was excellent, however. And the place seemed kind of deserted, even at prime time. Hoping that this was just "one of those nights" and not an indication of a decline.

Poor service
The pizza is fine here, but the service is very poor! I mean, I recognize, they are the only pizza place in the area, but do they have to be so bad in terms of service? I don't think so.

Great white pizza!
Some of the best crust we have had in the NY/NJ Metro area. White pizza was very good, but the pizza was pricy for the slice and even whole pie pizza's are somewhat expensive. Overall it was a fantastic place to grab a slice and their specialty pizza's looked very appetizing.
