Simply the best.
This is no ordinary (american) chinese restaurant--I mean, yeah it is, but the food is on a different level. I try every place's general tso's chicken and haven't ever tasted a better one. The fried dumplings are exquisite too. Avoid the sweet and sour and the lo mein, they are average. Delivery is really fast and I've never had a problem with my order in the more than three years I've ordered from here. The woman on the phone is so nice I want her to adopt me, and she even remembers my address and can guess what I want as soon as I say hello. This place is the best.

Fantastic Chinese Food
To the person below asking how does this place exists, have you eaten much Chinese food in williamsburg? This is the very best in the burg, trust me, I've tried them all. The food is always fresh & delivery is always quick, this is why they've been around for more than 20 years.

Best cheap American Chinese
This place is an exemplar of cheap American Chinese food (at least in the NYC are, where I grew up). Pretty much everything tastes exactly like it's supposed to, especially the pork dumplings. (The lo mein is kind of bland, as is the case with a lot of these places.) Of course, if you don't like cheap American Chinese food, and you're expecting "authentic" Chinese food, don't order from a place called 'Family Garden' where an order of dumplings is $4. But if what you're searching for is the classic American Chinese fast food joint, this is it. And it's better than the few other comparable places I've tried in the area. The only thing that sucks is that they only take cash, like so many other places in this neighborhood. I know they have to pay fees, but honestly tonight will be the fourth or fifth time just in the last couple of months that I will have ordered from some place else simply because I didn't have cash on me. Also, my ratings for "atmosphere" and "service" were purely arbitrary - I've only ever ordered take out. (Why would you dine in at a place like this?) But their delivery is always really fast!

The One That Got Away
I've since moved from the area, and I REALLY miss this place. I cry every night about it. The chow mai fun is sooooo good. Why?!

MSG!
Ordered a veg. chow fun with fried tofu. It was quite tasty, but the amount of msg in the food was so intense that i can still feel it in my head and on my tongue 4 hours after eating the dish.
