My absolute favorite
We come here twice a month at least. Baked eggs for breakfast. Great home-made Italian dinner meals. Parpadelle with brussel sprouts, avocado salad and octopus are to die for. Bread is excellent, nice wine. Sometimes it gets too hot and stuffy inside, I wish their A/C worked better.

Great dinner
We just stop by looking for an easy dinner and Falai Panetteria did not disappoint me at all. Nice surprise.

Depends on who is working there
While I have had really great service there in the mornings, there lunch/dinner staff seems to be pretty incompetent. I have worked in the service industry for years, so I don't mind a bit of rudeness as long as the person knows what he/she is doing. The past two times I have attempted to order delivery, however, have been needlessly complicated. First, the person who took the order gave the delivery gave $7 change for a $23 order, so we had to tip him $10 since we only had 20 dollar bills. (I don't mind tipping well, but it is troubling because I am sure some people would just give the guy a $20 and explain that it is not their problem that the barista doesn't know how to do basic math.) The second time, I was put on hold for several minutes after asking to place a delivery order, only to be told halfway through my order that "the delivery guy is doing something for the caffe, so you have to come get it." Their sandwiches are delicious, which makes it doubly frustrating when they make it impossible to get them!

The baked eggs are one of my favorite ways to start my day, they are fabulous! Pastries are also delicious, choclate oooozes out of the chocolate croissant.

Used to be my morning coffee stop...
Living in the neighborhood we frequent Falai...breakfast, desert, coffee etc even though the staff is constantly changing and can be very slow. Tonight we tried to have dessert and wine, but were turned away. Apparently at 8:30 on a Thursday night, during a recession, when there are a total of 6 people in the place, the tables are for "dinner" only, which was explained to us with a slight attitude.

Nice experience
I don't like to spend so much words about this place but I really enjoy my dinner. The price are quit low respect the past months and tapas menu is amazing.
