Awesome
FADA is the best restaurant that I have ever been to. The service is wonderful and the food is even better! This retaurant is a must!

amazing
The best dining experience that I have ever had. Food is outstanding, service is impeccable, wine list is extensive. Decor is French and very well done. I would highly recommend this fabulous restaurant, but I would suggest going on a week night for less noise and better enjoyment.

One of my favourite but inconstent service
Fada is one my favorite places to go for drinks or a nice french meal. I really dig the steak frites anf their streak tartare. The onion soup is pretty darn good too. They have a good selection of wine as well. My only comment is that the service is inconsistent. Sometimes you'd get the best service and others your waitress wanna be model totally flakes on you. Also, I've yet to get a nicely done cocktail there. If you are craving real french food with nice wine, Fada is a great place!

real french
I am French, from Paris. This is the one and only real French Restaurant in Williamsburg. I tried all the others so-called French Restaurants here: They are adapted to "American taste" and American expectations. Fada serves true French food (no extra sugar in sauces for example), the staff is as discret as they are in France ( = does not interrupt your conversation every 5 minutes to ask if you are doing okay, like a child) and very observant. If you really want to eat French, that is the place to go.

do not like
apparently the burger is good, but i dont eat meat so i cant attest to it. coffee took forever to refill. they charge for refills too. food was average at best. service was poor. the waiter seemed annoyed he had to be at work and threw the silverware in front of us. actually told us to hold up, one thing at a time. food came without utensils and when i finally got his attention, he handed me an industrial serving spoon that would only fit in the mouth of a giant.

Service
Went there for brunch with a party of 17 people. Took 45 minutes to get a refill of coffee after asking 4 times. The croissant I ordered was baking in the oven while I waited but was "magically" cold when it came. Manager was no better when we asked him. I must say the food was good....but no food would be good enough to come back after the awful service we received. We felt completely ignored and not 1 of the 17 people are planning on coming back.

Service and Value lacking
Just had dinner with 4 friends this past Sunday arived at 6pm. Server had no idea what the specials were dinner svc started at 5pm. Never came back to advise. One person ordered from the pre fixe menu portion was microscopic. Onion soup was good but that's not saying much. Rib eye ordered was less than half inch thick I've never seen one that thin in my life. Desserts were lacking most were left in tact on the plate server never asked why. Couldn't be bothered. I would say the same for Fada I couldn't be bothered.
