I used to go in here every day for lunch and the girl who is generally behind the counter has never once gotten my order right. I often order the croque monsieur and I always ask for it VERY well done because sometimes they will bring it out and it is literally frozen solid in the middle. They still often can't handle that. I have never found any of the staff to be rude, just extremely incompetent.

I've read other reviews about the poor service, but I had an excellent experience with the staff. After a lovely breakfast of baked eggs (with Fabiane's excellent bread) and coffee, I left the cafe and forgot my cell phone. One of the servers found it and not only set it aside for safekeeping, but scrolled through the numbers until she found a listing for "mom," called my mother and let her know about the missing phone. My mom alerted my friends and I was able to return and retrieve the phone within minutes. Thank you to the fabulous staff at Fabiane's for saving me from a missing-phone nightmare!

This is a nice little cafe to sit in Williamsburg as you watch the busy people traffic on Bedford Ave. The pastry is delicious but the coffee was ok. We had a pesto sandwich with soup which were great for a cool Autumn afternoon.

We all know the food rocks, its simple and healthy and its not too pricey. It isn't that the service is bad, cause they are always pretty speedy, its just that they aren't friendly. They all mostly from the same country and there is just a major culture gap. Get over it. :) I get the Acai bowl there twice a week or more, usually to-go, its awesome and so is the Popeye salad. Both are very refreshing. Good orange juice, okay coffee, awesome pistachio cake.

I definitely agree about the food,its really one of the best place in Bedford but according to the service ,there is pretty much to say about them.Some of them are really nice,but i don't agree about the sisters.The're rude ,and often they know how to ignore the ppl. I know that by my own experience.However,the place is one of the best (to eat).

This place is great for coffee and desert but not so much when it comes too food. Their tuna for tuna nicose salad i out of can, and normandie salad has berly any salmon in it.Morover; their are serving everything with greens which became boring. Furthermore the people in the kitchen are rude; once i asked them a question and they didnt say anything they were just laughing. when it comes to the service it really depends on people who are working. I like going there at night people are way more nicer. especially these 2 sisters and the littel brasilian girl they are really nice.

As others have said, great spot with good food but medicore service. You order at the counter, then carry your drink and go to your seat with a number indicating which food is yours. The wait is long and when they finally put it down their expression is so blank, they look almost too clueless to be called rude! They look too young to have even spent much time as customers, so they don't even seem to know what's expected. The coffee was great though, and the food fresh and hot.
