Tucked away in the East Village, you'll walk down a few steps to enter Exchange Alley. Upon entering the restaurant, you almost feel like you're stepping into an old speakeasy. Cozy and inviting, the space is dimly lit, clad with black and white vintage photos, and playing music circa 1940.

Found this place by typing in "fried okra," my friend and I ordered the fried okra (she which btw liked alot and isn't a fan of okra), jambalaya balls (tasted like we were in New Orleans again), for our entrees we ordered steak and sea bass with a side of oyster mushrooms. Everything was out of this world (!!!) taste, service, price/portions. Chase was our server and was on point and a delight-- he recommended most of what we ordered. My friend and I are already planning our return with some of our other friends. Yumm
