great food, quiet place
a while ago I read a reveiew about this place, and finally got around to trying it...I have been there a few times, since...excellent!...real, basic food, no nonsense, nice 'n' clean, and low-priced...this may become my mainstay Chinatown restaurant...love that marinated seaweed and dried bean curd appetizer...

Closed On Tue
This place serves incredible pork chops for almost nothing! And besides these super delish pork chops, i love their boiled soups with veggie rice and Taiwanese-styled shaved ice. Just remember it's closed on Tuesday :)

Great place for Taiwanese food
This Place is a great place for Taiwanese style food, the poor chop is very good and super cheap. only thing is the soup is too salty all the time .. but other than that everything else is great here.

Great food, great value!
Really good pork chop over rice dish and other small dishes. Place is clean, service is efficient and polite, food is good - value can't be beat. They also have Taiwanese shaved ice. Highly recommend if you want a fast, inexpensive meal in Chinatown!

warm and friendly little spot
Small little family run spot with great values and friendly service.the soups and rice dishes are tasty and very reasonable. A lot of bang for your buck.Every time I come to chinatown(I live in Florida now) I attempt to try something new, but always make it a point to go here first for a bowl of soup or some rice.Always big smiles from the staff

Hole In The Wall
The restaurant is hard to find if you don't look carefully. It's not on any of the main streets in Chinatown... which is exactly the reason I love this place. I thought it would be a shady place, which was the reason why I never went until I saw it in one of the NYC tourist guide books. I'm SO glad that I went to try it out! It's a small homey place with good food. I've been coming here for close to 3 years now. My faves are the pork chop and rice with egg, the braised chicken soup with egg, and the hot and sour soup. I've never had the hot and sour soup as consistent each time! I also like their bubble tea because it is not as sweet as some of the other bubble tea shops down the street make it to be. Good food for a low price in a clean restaurant. What more can you ask for?
