The dumplings here are not excellent at all. Just average.

While shopping on Canal, we became famished and saw the sign for chinese food. What a bang for your buck! The food was served quickly "to order" and I believe it was the best wonton soup that I ever had. Each of the people that I was with ordered something different and everyone thought that what they ordered was exceptional! Definitely a place to go back to, as a bill for 3 was less than $20 INCLUDING the soup and tea.

The last time we were in nyc we ate there and last week we just happened upon it while shopping on canal street. Fast service, clean, great food. For $5 we got a tasty lunch. We were at a round table with other people and struck up a great conversation. Not to be missed. Try it, you will like it.

Stopped in based on reviews. Zero atmosphere. Food was average at best and my daughter bit on a bone found in one of her dumplings. Go to Peking Duck House for best steamed dumplings in the city.

The most amazing things you have ever put in your mouth. Go to this restaurant just to eat these.

Delicious $5 lunch today. Tasty -8- steamed pork dumplings. Place is NOT a dump...very bright and clean, wonderful friendly, very quick service. Would not hesitate to return.

The chicken dumpling soup is fabulous. As the above poster pointed out, the place looks like a dump but don't judge a book by it's cover!
