Chinese eat there
I have had many experiences hosting Chinese visiters and being hosted by Chinese at this restaurant. Many Chinese have told me this is a very good Shanghai-style restaurant by U.S. standards. As a frequent visiter to Shanghai, I agree.

Excellent food and service
The food was awesome, I love shrimp fried rice and this one actually has more than 4 shrimps! Not only that,. but the rice is not greasy and they give you a nice big portion. You definitely get what you pay for. Evergreen cuisine rocks!

Not recommended
The other review..."pay for what you get is right." The food is either too salty, spicy and mushy. The ingredients they give you for the food is poor. There are other more notable authentic chinese cuisine available in the area where the value is much better.

You pay for What you Get
Never ate at the actual restaurant, but order for delivery often. Tends to be a bit pricey, but it is hands down the best Chinese in Murray Hill area. I know I hate Chinese places that look all shady and dirty, and you don't have to worry about that with this place. Again, can bust your wallet a bit, but you pay for what you get.

Good food, so-so service
Agree with below about the food part but not the service.They often mix up take out orders (happened twice already) but never apologizes for the inconvenience they've caused me. I had to wait 45 minutes yesterday for the right food to come out and moreover when I asked for an apology, the lady on the counter refused to do so and insisted that it was my fault. It used to be one of my favorite spot but I'm not going there again.

Great food, fast service
This place is consistently good and fast. Service is fast. Decor is OK, not great. Good lunch specials too.

Great food
The sweet and sour chicken and the dumplings were excellent. They were delivered promptly and reasonably priced. I recommend this place.
