    The tubs of whey protein are unimpeachable

    But the falafel is the second worst I've had in NY. Bland and mushy.

    Not recommended for delivery

    This place is by far the worst delivery spot to order from in NYC. I haven't ordered from them in about 6 months because the last time I ordered from them it took an hour and a half to arrive and we live 5 blocks away. I decided to give it another shot tonight and I am currently waiting an hour and fifteen minutes since I ordered on Seamless. They don't pick up their phone or it's busy. The food is okay but in no way is it worth the hassle. Get it together Evas.

    Not Recommended

    I work in a east vilage bar. We always order food for delivery. This is the second time we have placed an order at this spot. The first time was a disappointment. The food was cold and the portions were non existent for the money. We give everything a second try. If you have veg chili on the menu then it should be just that. Not some watered down liquid with one bean. Never again.

    The frequent visitor no more!

    Wow and all this time I thought I was alone...Eva's use to be my all time favorite spot (years ago). The food was always great, service was decent at best- I would spend easily $40-60 a week on food. But I started to notice before and now (again) how rude some of the counter people are. Bwtween the phone orders being rushed to the staff talking about U in Spanish. Eva's have fallen quite a few notches; therefore I visit them once every other week.

    Poor customer service

    We order or pick-up food from Eva's almost every day. Unfortunately, their customer service has become so bad I try to avoid going there too often. Can't tell you how frustrating and rude it is when you try to place an order over the phone and the guy, does not let you finish what you are saying and just keeps saying, "Anything else, anything else, anything else!" Then your order arrives and it's wrong or something is missing. If you call back they are very good at honoring it on your next order, but sometimes that is inconvenient....like when you are missing a meal. It is also very annoying when you ask to use the coupon and they give you an attitude, if you don't want people to use the coupons then don't give them out! Then God forbid if you want to pay with a credit card, if you can actually get the words out of your mouth before they hang up on you....more attitude. Lately, when I call they ask you to hold and I'm on hold for over 5 minutes, regardless of what time I call, then they pick-up the phone like you just called. It's very disappointing. maybe there should be an extra person during peak hours to help the staff, because it really shows in their tone of voice and attitude that they are not interested in serving customers.
