What a Surprise
I went back to Euro Trip after my first attempt of a decent meal. My first time there was not so great as you may know. But this time, almost a year later, I went for Brunch. It was delicious! My girls had very simple fare. One had two baked eggs, side of thick smoked bacon, and the most amazing fried potato and sweet potato combo you have ever had. It didn't come with toast so ordered a side of grilled flatbread and it was soft and chewy on the inside with a thick crunchy crust, (which I had to devour cuz my girls don't eat crust....yet). My other daughter order the Belgin waffle with fresh strawberries and bananas with whipped cream. Lovely, but nothing out of the ordinary, but lovely and just what you would expect. I ordered the quinoa salad with grilled shrimp and organic veggies. So satisfying and filling. The quinoa was crunchy and light while the veggies had a chili oil drizzled on them that brought out the flavors of the whole dish. My husband had the omelette with thick bacon, mushrooms, cheese and peppers, the amount of butter in it might be intense but you really cannot put your fork down. The food and service were wonderful and our experience was delightful. We will certainly go back. I retract my first mention of this place and give a standing O! -theBK diner.com

Lots to LOVE!
Great Wednsday night pre-fix. Awesome Thursday burger specials(not your average burger). Super wait staff, Chef Paul is the best, cool cocktails, tap beers (try the 32 oz mugs). I'm not sure what else I can say. This place rocks, great addition to the nabe, but worth a trip from in the borough.

Yummy, affordable brunch
Went there for brunch with two others. We got the langos french toast, fried edam cheese, and halusky and sausage hash and we were pleased with everything. The $14 prix-fixe includes coffee and brunch beverage (my Kir Royale was great and the St. Germain was a new and pleasant discovery). Waiter was very knowledgable about the menu offerings. More leisurely pace than many brunch placesperfect for a lazy Sunday morning. Will definitely be going back!

Food is good
I loved my pasta with Hungarian sausage and side of perogies, but do not get the iced tea.. The consistency had bubbles in it. It almost tasted like the person who made it decided to put some Coca-Cola in it for fun. I sent it back twice & finally just settled on getting a glass of water. I know what iced tea tastes like & that was definitely not iced tea.

A Tasty Adventure
My girlfriend and I had read about Eurotrip online and decided to try it. We had a very good experience there. We liked the diversity of the menu choices and finally decided to have appetizers and entrees. Thare are so many interesting choices that it was not easy to settle. We were impressed by the lamb dumpling appetizer (large enough to share) filled with lamb chunks, wild mushrooms and wonderful caramelized onions. She always seems to order chicken. Well, the roasted chicken breast with a Shilvowitz glaze was sublime. and extremely juicy, I had the the braised pork which was tender and accompanied by the best sauteed red cabbage that I have ever tasted. I didn't care for the bread dumplings which were a bit starchy but all in all the dish was excellent. We had no room for dessert. This is not one of those trendy places where you get 2 forkfuls of meat and 1 forkful of vegetables to be chic. The portions are very generous and worth the price. As for the service, the waiter was perfectly attentive and had no problems explaining the various Eastern European dishes to us. One more thing that perhaps doesn't affect everybody, but was important to me. The tables are separated well enough, so that you don't have to be involved with the conversations of the other diners. In addition, the chairs are cushioned, unlike so many new places that have the hardest wooden chairs that make lingering over dinner uncomfortable, We will definitely return to try some of the other dishes.

so so.
food is decent, service was bad, not even a knowledge of a menu that needs some explaining. the bartender said he was new but i had been there 3 weeks earlier and he was there. how long does it take to learn a small menu? another big problem, the restaurant around the block has been running a wine deal every monday for over a year, euro trip has copied the exact deal, on mondays... be creative... dining room is like an echo chamber. lots of money put into this place... good luck, i will not be back.
