I purchased oatmeal from the branch @ 370 West 58th st. It was basically water, in which some oatmeal floated, more like a soup. It tasted disturbingly sour. The woman working at the counter was rude. Overall the experience was extremely poor.

Europan on 58th St and 9th Avenue
First off, I miss John's pizza because they didn't charge tax like Europan Pizza and it was a friendly atmosphere. Second, I ordered a Caesar Salad with Chicken. There were no vegetables, barely any lettuce, too much sauce, and half the salad included way too many crutons. Follow up on that.

overpriced
Time and again this place amazes me with their astronomical prices. I totally understand the location near Lincoln Center, but not only are they way overpriced, they are stingy with their servings, giving me 4 squares of cut up feta cheese and charging me $2 for this "exclusive" topping. I ordered a salad with 4 ingredients and it was $11! I vow to not take out from this place again. I've learned my lesson. I hope you can benefit from mine.

Construction site next door
It's your typical salad deli, but the construction site next door (June 2008) makes eating here wholly unpleasant, even inside the restaurant. Do not even THINK of eating outside in their sidewalk café during business hours, unless you like dust in your food. In a perfect world they would close until the neighboring construction work was finished.

Recommend
Looking for a quick bite and not too expensive before a Lincoln Arts Center gig. Offering soups, salads and sandwiches. Food was fresh and sandwiches were made to order. Seating arrangements are limited. You can get by the fast, move along service.

Unnecessarily rude
I live nearby and used to come in quite often for take out. I don't know why I think things will ever change, but the women behind the counter area always so rude and unfriendly. They always make it seem like th are doing you a favor by ringing up your order. Doesn't anyone believe in service anymore?. The food is at best average. The least they can do is provide good service. because the food is nothing to speak of.
