    Out of this world!

This Place is amazing! The menu is ever changing, the wine list is terrific. Any meal begins with a delicious olive tapanade, and fresh assorted breads! They even have a $5 Bar Bites Menu which is perfect for pre-theatre! Also, desserts for even the most discriminating taste! The goat cheese stuffed mushrooms (a steal at $6) are to die for!

Mediocre food at a high price

This was my second visit to etcetera etcetera and it will be my last. Four of us dined pre-theater and the food could not have been more uninspired. The salad was a bit salty and boring, the snapper dish I had could have come from a any old place and the sorbet assortment aside from the lemon was bland. Combine that with a tab of over $100 for two, it is obvious why we will never return in spite of reasonably good service and a nice though noisy atmosphere.

    Awesome

Oh my gosh...this place was awesome. The food was divine, the service was excellent, the prices extremely reasonable. We had a wonderful meal after the theatre on a Saturday night. The restaurant was quiet and though dark, not cave-like. The food was simply fabulous. The risotto was unbelievably creamy and perfectly seasoned. The dessert sorbets were perfect finishes to the wonderful meal. Plus the staff was amazingly kind. They even hailed us crazy gals from the south a cab in the freezing wind. Would go back here in a heartbeat.

    Enjoyd it every time

We first found the restaurant by accident and just had drinks, but really fell in love with the atmosphere, service, and mostly the food. We've been back numerous times and enjoy it every time.

    Praise Indeed

I recently dined (post theatre) at this restaurant and felt that I have discover a gem in the Theatre district. Whilst having dinner at its sister restaurant Vice Versa (also superb) the previous evening some diners mentioned Etc, Etc and said they had eaten there the previous night and would highly recommend it and they were right. I could not fault the excellent level of service from the most helpful and friendly Joe - our server. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was a mixture of cool and stylish minimalism- slate walls, without being cold. I live in London and will return next month to eat here again, as this is a restaurant worth travelling 4000 miles for! Top marks.

    Less than fresh Fish

At the recomendation of a friend, my husband and I decided to try Etc,Etc... after the theater. Things started out well with a delicious assortment of breads, a very good cabernet and an attentive, friendly waiter. I had the prix fix starter salad which was OK. My husband had the asparagus risotto with smoked mozzerella, which would have been better with more mozzerella and a lot less asparagus. Frankly, it overwealmed the dish and gave it a funky flavor. For entrees, we both had fish. The bass with prawn was fishy at best. Our waiter who had once been ever-present, was no where to be seen. We tried in vain to explain the condition of the fish to the bus-boy who cleared the table and spoke no English. Desserts a la carte were a bit too exotic and off the wall for both our tastes so we decided to share my strawberry tart which was delicious. Unfortunately, they do not sell prix fix items seperatly or a la carte, so we had to settle for one. Overall, my advice would be to stick with the prix fix menu - for $30 it was worth the price.

    Good Food and Service

The lamb chops or the steak for a main course are awesome! Really like the staff, all very attentive and nice. The Onion Soup is most likely the best in NYC! I also went to a friend's birthday party there, party space as well, party went an extra 2 hours because we were having so much fun.
