Merely steps away from the lights of Broadway, Etcetera Etcetera is the perfect venue for either pre or post-theatre dinner, with a stainless-steel bar, a 50-seat dining room downstairs and a private space on the second floor. Chef Stefano Terzi, along with his partners Daniele Kucera and Franco Lazzari, unveiled their vision of a sanctuary that incorporates their unique cultural heritage blending it with years of experience gained from major New York City restaurants including their own ViceVersa. Mouth-watering Italian fare with Mediterranean accents served in an ambience punctuated by modern art and industrial design elements draws New Yorkers and tourists alike to this chic Midtown haven where the outgoing staff, headed by general manager Brian Hauserman, will certainly help you make the most of your dining experience.

Wonderful meal and experience!!
I went to Etc Etc for Thanksgiving dinner. Typically, holiday meals in restaurants are sub-par and poorly executed. This definitely was not the case at Etc Etc. My turkey stuffed with duck was moist, delicious, and perfectly done. The sweet potato and cranberry relish were delish! Amazing job!

Best steak in NY!!
Get the caprese and the skirt steak. Its the best in the city (and we've been looking). Their pastas are great too. We eat out a lot.... Etc etc has become our home. A little spendy but totally worth it!!

the best meatballs
Not just your basic Italian. They really turn out very special dishes. The veal meatballs in a tomato sauce are out of this world!

Not so great
Ate here with my husband for a pre-theatre dinner. Lovely ambiance particularly for the usual Italian restaurants in the theatre area. Unfortunately, the food not so great. I ordered from the prix-fix and my husband ordered a la carte. We agreed our fish entrees were tasteless and overcooked. The bread and ice cream/sorbet combination for dessert were the best part of our meals.

Wonderful Service
Stopped in for a drink on my way home with a friend the other night. Exceptional service by our bartender, and everyone else was extremely nice as well. The atmosphere is wonderful...brightly lit (I agree with the reviewer below...I HATE dimly lit places with loud music!), and beautiful decor. I am definetely going back for dinner soon!!

Sub-Par Dinner
The atmosphere and service were both excellentfinally, a restaurant without the terribly dim, sleep-inducing lighting and loud techno music! We ordered some sides as starters, and those were creative and delicious (esp the mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese!). However, our entrees were creative, but mostly flavorless. The ravioli was like dumplings, and the risotto was good but not greatI could have made it in my own kitchen, and probably with a lot less butter. The chicken and fish dishes were uninspired. And the portion sizes were small for the quality and price. As such, I must disagree strongly with the reviewer who said that the meal reminded her of meals in Italynone of the care that goes into sauces and pastas in Italy were apparent in the dishes at Etc Etc. I wouldn't recommend it unless you were already in the area or if you wanted to go for a quick drink and side dishes.
