    Serves Endangered Fish

I am going to point out the simple fact that Milos, a restaurant which claims that its fish suppliers have a "commitment to freshness, exceptional quality and respect for the environment" serves Blue Fin and Big Eye Tuna, both of which are on the endangered species list. If I had known that before going for dinner I would not have dared set foot in this place. Not only are the prices astronomical, but the food is nothing to rave about, and neither is the service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

    The Best Greek Restaurant

Fresh Mediterranean fish the likes of which you don't really find elsewhere in the City and attentive service. The staff has been very nice each time and the food has been not just good but outstanding EVERY time I have been which is why I keep returning. If you looking for a great dinning experience in NYC, you should not leave out Milos. I have been in Greece many times especially the islands and every time I visit NYC, I get a little taste of Greece, thanks to Milos.

    Thank God I Didn't Pay

Everything was swimming in olive oil and the fish was pretty bland. Some of the appetizer were ok, but overall nothing to make me want to come back. Pass.

Not A Good Restaurant Week Or Lunch Choice

This place is beautiful and makes you feel like you are looking into Greece. Tons of light and great high ceilings. The wait staff was nice to some degree, but took really long and never were around. Also once my wife and I were almost done with something, they came by and interrupted our conversation to take away the dish with an attitude. For lunch, they serve oridianry roast beef looking and tasting lamb sandwich and a tuna patty in a supermarket brand bun that took over 25 minutes to make and then serve. Also served on the side were deep fried veggies, that were tasteless and weird. Dessert was the best thing: strawberry sorbet, but this is easy when you buy store-bought and scoop it out. Also the house wine is to be avoided. A friend of mine recommended that I go back for dinner, but in reality, if you waste money the first time around. How give a second chance when your are in NYC and there a billion resturants around.

    Slice of Greece

May be expensive, but truly a place to go for a nice dinner out or expense account dining. LOVED the Milos Special appetizer - thinly sliced zuchinni fried with a great tangy dip. Tomatoes in the greek salad were perfectly ripe the night we dined. The grilled fish light, fresh and satisfying. Our waiter was a sweet attentive Greek gentleman. In no way were we ever "rushed" or ignored, even though the restaurant was packed (albeit noisy) Highly recommended!

    Overrated, Overpriced, Overhyped.

The first thing you notice when you enter EM is the smell of burnt bread. The place is pretty, but huge, loud and sterile. Service is phony nice, rushed and you'll feel the eyes on you to finish your courses quickly so they can turn over your table. A basket of dry chargrilled bread explains the smell. Octopus appetizer described as "sushi grade" was still chewy Fava bean puree had consistency of baby food and just as bland. Green Salad was underdressed and garnished with deli-grade feta. Beware of their $45.00/pound 3 pound minimum fish unless you think $80.00/pound fish after cleaning is worth your hard earned money. We opted for the $ 42.00 salmon which was good but no better than any other at a high end restaurant. Key lime tart was nice. Portions are adequate. Wouldn't return. This is average, decent, simply prepared food at atmospheric prices which are unjustified.

    Best for Lunch

Agree with other reviews that prices can be high but if you go for lunch, it is a super deal. The spreads alone for the appetizer will fill you up and the mixed grill for main entree is a lot of food. And sorbets are made there so they are very flavorful. All for $25!
