Dissappointed
The food: The only thing I was able to taste in any of the dishes was salt and oil. None of the natural flavors of anything stood out at all. I tried the lobster (~$150 at the current price, very tough and chewy to boot), their "Milo's Special" appetizer, their octopus appetizer, some french fries, and the honjake grilled salmon. The salmon came with some broccoli and cauliflower. The -only- thing I could taste in every single thing I tried was salt. I would not eat this food again, even if it were $10 a plate. I did however order a latte at the end of my meal that was pretty good. The service: It was okay, but I kind of expected more from a place with such high prices. The bathroom was also dirty, and the toilet paper was just kind of resting on the pipes on the back of the toilet instead of being put in a dispenser.

Rube in NYC
I have lived in NYC for 20 years and have spent ridiculous prices on lots of things but eating at this restaurant is the first time I ever really felt like a rube. Go here if you want to pay $400 for a meal for 2 that you can get for $150 or less at any mediocre Greek restaurant in NYC. Btw - have to say the service was great but had to send my "sashimi" quality tuna for $50 back because I could not cut through it with my knife.

Not recommended
Fish is fresh but nothing special. Way, way overpriced for what it is.

fair
we was surprised that zucchini appetizer cost $33.50 ,we order sparkling water -they bring two open bottles that was reused many times(old paper labels was seen)and it was water from fountain like in regular diner ,i do not know how much we paid for fish and it was nothing special,we invite our friends from Washington and fill disappointed ,when we walk around the corner in simple cafe Pellegrino and Panna bottled water was served,we felt cheated,i will never recommend it to my good friends and for the future customers-do not order sparkling water, order plain and u wont be charged money that we paid for water in reusable open bottles,

Lovely
The food at Milos was exceptional. It is just basic, fresh ingredients. I ordered the black sea bass cooked in lemon and olive oil. The fish was fresh, the service was great and the atmosphere was festive and exciting. Definitely order the greek salad. It is large chunks of tomatoes, feta and cucumber. No lettuce. Definitely recommended for a special occasion

Great sea food
The best deal here is the pre post theater menu. The crab cake and shrimp appetizer was excellent, as was the loupe de mer. Great wine list, too

It's all about service
Fantastic experience, ask for the guided tour and you will learn a lot about the type of fish you are about to eat... It comes as fresh as you can get in NY. Oysters were phenomenal too. I have had a very special attention and the best service experience ever maybe because my friend is an 'habitue' of this restaurant... The food was excellent, a bit fatty if you are on a diet. The prices are not cheap but quite worth it...
