Great
Although living in the area for several years, just got around to trying Espinal. Boy I wish I tried it earlier! The food was great and the portions were a good size especially for the price. Will be back soon.

Hit the spot!
I just moved to the neighborhood yesterday and was looking for a tasty cheap lunch. Espinal's hit the spot- I got the roast pork with rice & beans combo and it was really good. The servings are large, especially for $7. Definitely a good takeout place, I'll be back!

Fast, cheap, delicious
I work at Sloan-Kettering and came across this gem one day for lunch. The line was out the door, but I got my large combo of rice and beans with stewed pork and a large drink for 6.50 in less than 5 minutes. The speed and efficiency of the place is mind-boggling. The food was delicious - simple and filling. Try it if you're in the mood for great homestyle cooking.

Just like home made food
The best food ever. Have been eating from there daily for the past ten years. It is like eating home. Prices are incredible and service is great.
