This place is simply amazing- there is no where like it in the city. The service really is invisible... although the tables are close together, you feel like you are in a room by yourself. It is also the most romantic place I have ever been in the city. Food is outstanding.... different than your typical italian joint. If you want her to fall in love with you- take her here. worked for me :)

My bf took me here last night for my birthday and we had one of the most romantic dinners we've ever had (and I drag him everywhere). From the tiny tables for two to the drip candles, the atmosphere was perfect. For dinner we had the filet mignon carpaccio and a salad special then lobster fra diavolo and seafood grilled skewers, everything was delicious. Topped off by a fantastic bottle of wine and some of the best zabaglione I've ever tasted, it was a perfect birthday. This little place is definitely one of those charming restaurants you'll wish you'd eaten at sooner.

After spending the afternoon at the ballet with my beautiful girlfriend, Erminia was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. The atmospehere was the real charm to the place. Service was invisable as Zagats describes and the food was good. Despite a limited amount of tables we were not rushed along and were able to linger and just enjoy each others company.

My wife took me here for a special occasion and it was simply amazing. Food, service, even price. You will really be transported. I'm serious. I can't believe only one other person has reviewed it. I'd feel like you can't go wrong for an Italian night that has an elegant interplay of atmosphere and food. Again. you will be transported.

I stumbled upon this little place a while back, and decided to give it a try for an early dinner. I had a very nice experience. Here's what I would like to share.1. It's TINY. No more than ten tables, so you will definitely need a reservation.2. Very, cozy, romantic, brick-wall, candle-lit room. Great for a date!3. Charming, professional service - though they could be a tad friendlier.4. Absolutely superb Italian cooking. I had a tasty salad, a lovely lobster ravioli, and wonderful tiramisu. 5. It's definitely expensive, but I think it worth it for the sensational experience.I hope that you enjoy as much as I did!
