    Great for takeout

This is a small, personal place with tasty food- mostly takeout, though they have a few tables to sit in the store. They offer nice Morroccan chicken and tasty shnitzel. The owner is friendly and nice. They are much cheaper than the other kosher places in the area.

    Celebrating at Eretz

We just celebrated Rosh Chodesh ( New Month) last night at Eretz Kosher Café and Market . We are so grateful to Eretz for a very sumptuous dinner befitting of a great holiday. We were served with what has to be the best chicken steak in New York City (my personal favorite chicken dish!). As usual we had special personal attention from Yishay and Zev for which we are grateful. It was such great fun and we all left feeling exhilarated from the experience of celebrating Rosh Chodesh Iyar together, sharing some tools for healing and partaking of the most delicious dinner in town.

    In a New York Minute

My boyfriend and I like to visit this small deli in the Upper West Side. The staff is attentive , the place casual and the food great. We have "discovered" their schnitzel and it really is good. It is crispy outside and soft inside. On days that we feel more adventurous and patient, we wait for an order of shawarma platter.Sometimes, it takes a long time , especially when you order their fries but it is worth the wait. They assure you everything is fresh so it takes a longer time. Well, when I'm in fast food mode and can't wait, I order shnitzel sandwich! That comes, like in a New York minute. i guess they make this more often. The grilled cutlets tend to be dry at times . The trick is ( another discovery) to order a new batch to be cooked while you wait. They gladly do it for you if you wait patiently( 20 minutes I think ). I also like their beef with mushrooms, the only pricey item in their menu, but it is quite tasty. Overall, quality of food and experience at this place is great.

    What a disappointment!

i ordered a delivery from here and it was unappetizing. i ordered a turkey sandwich, and i expected actual deli slices. instead, i received a sandwich with turkey from a package (like the empire turkey found at any grocery store). i also ordered chicken noodle soup. more than half of the container was noodles, with very little soup or chicken.

    Great Shnitzel

Came here on a thursday night to get a variety of foods fortake out dinner. Got the Schnitzel, sweet The sweet potato kugel was alos a big hit, and will be getting it again. Service was great, as Yaela the owner helped me pick different things , and made great recommendations. WIll definitely be coming here again.

    Not recommended

The owner was rude, and their limited inventory of items were outdated and stale. I wouldn't buy anything there, and their plates were not very clean. The food was decent though. However, there aren't enough tables to sit.

    Great option!

A great option if you don't feel like cooking but want something home made and delicious. Great schnitzel and apricot chicken.
