Lovely European experience
I had a great bowl of pasta here and often stop by for a coffee. I've lived in Europe and find it hard to find a good cup of coffee. This is a good spot. And delightful to rest in for a while.

great find
My Mom and I happened upon this charming little restaurant in late July. We sat and had a cappuccino while we waited to meet up with some friends. We were impressed with the great service we received, even though we only had coffee and we sat for a bit. I stopped in last Saturday and had a yummy eggplant and cheese sandwich and a cup of coffee. It's a great place with a friendly, easy-going (yet efficient) wait staff. I will definitely make this a regular stop whenever I'm in SoHo.

Atmosphere and good food
A typical Italian place. Not because of its cute Italian managers not pretending to speak with an Italian accent (yes, they have it...so what?). Nor because of its friendly, but yes, cool, waiters and waitresses from Spain, France and Brooklyn -or just next door. Food has a Sardinian accent, and as any true restaurant in Italy, you go there for specific dishes only -not for your standard salmon/chicken/pork, or for useless variety. I recommend the chicken with roasted potatoes, the gnocchetti campidanesi with sausage and tomato sauce, and the chocolate mousse dessert -one of the best in town. But you may prefer other dishes or snacks. Sprinkle with Verdicchio or Merlot, and be ready to hang out with some of the most sophisticated youngsters in town. Or by yourself. On the 'terrace', on the couch, or just at the bar.
