    Delightfully Different

A find in an area that is overloaded with ordinary, overpriced dining. The food is excellent - especially the Tunisian dishes, wines perfect companion and the quanity is more than enough. The atmosphere is cozy - a nice small attractively decorated place and the service is perfect. What more can I say - I will be back.

    Was there last night

Had the Epices Salad and the Seafood Risotto. Very delicious! The staff was extremely accommodating, as well. Highly recommended, especially for a romantic dinner.

    Great choice for dinner!

Epices is a wonderful place to go for dinner. It's elegant and classy without being overwhelming--a nice, small restaurant hidden off to the side of the street. Even though it may seem hidden, its waiting list is immense. Clearly the people who do know about it like to return. I would definitely recommend making a reservation a good couple of hours being arriving. I loved the ambiance inside the restaurant. The lighting was perfect: It was low enough to give off a homey air without being too dim. The warm hues of the decor really lent the restaurant a comfortable feel. The staff was amiable and considerate, and the menu is excellent. If you are a chicken lover as I am, I would recommend the grilled chicken brochettes. Definitely a place to which I plan on returning.

The place is nice and the food is good enough (good desserts but I've had better tagines). All in all a nice place and a good value for the neighborhood.
