One if the cleanest Filipino restaurants in the city. A pleasant atmosphere with a display of Filipino baked pastries and desserts. Their food is good and I especially like their Ensaymada compared to everyone else's because they make it with butter. I hope that it really is. Anyway, they are moist and softer too and freshly baked. They are good that if you don't get them earlier especially on weekends, they're out of them. The sans rival is not as super loaded with frosting - and again they use butter and not margarine. They also make the salted garlic peanuts unlike others. By heirs have a lot of toasted garlic in them. Crispy pata and friend daeng bangus is always consistently good. I like the food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and at day time it's naturally bright! I travel all the way from Manhattan to get these items, eat in, and also take out. It's authentic traditional Philiooine food - not fusion.
