Very Poor
I kept trying Energy Kitchen in the hopes that it would improve, but the quality and the service continues to disappoint. The delivery times are consistently 1+ hours, even though I live three blocks away. Two out of the last three orders have been delivered wrong and when I call to get it corrected, the staff seems indifferent. There are too many other options out there for anyone to waste the time with this place, as I unfortunately have.

Not worth the wait
We order the Thai chicken wrap. It took almost an hour for the wraps to arrive and we live two blocks away. When the food arrived it was bland and not worth the wait.

Disappointed too many times.
Was good in the beginning. But Energy kitchen is now inconsistent, the food certainly not stellar, and the ingredients often not fresh or of a high quality. I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken just now. What arrived was a handful of romaine, not particularly fresh, eight croutons, plus 1 and ½ oz ounces of tiny cut-up pieces of dry chicken, not the moist sliced chicken breast you are served other places and expect. A few weeks ago I ordered the Mediterranean salad: the cucumbers had freezer burn, the tomatoes were dull and tasteless, the kind you find in the low-end produce section and again the romaine was not crisp. The salmon salad used to be tasty and the portions fair. Now, it too has been reduced to a small dollop of salmon salad plopped on that same tired romaine. The soups are good, but you’d better ask three times for crackers, as they may or may not, even if you ask, bring them. And be clear which soup you want: I’ve been delivered chili instead of lentil soup, minestrone instead of lentil and so on. The pancakes can arrive beautifully done or burned. With nice amounts of blueberries or just a few. The shakes are OK. Deliveries arrive promptly sometimes, and late, or with the wrong orders, or missing items others. The staff is nice enough, but there doesn’t seem to be management on-site. I use Energy Kitchen, but not eagerly, and am often quite disappointed. But for now anyway, it’s the only place around that I’m aware of that makes and delivers health shakes. But as the West Village continues to change I’m sure more places of this ilk will open, and then Energy Kitchen will have to up its game if it wants to stay in it.

Obsessive
I get delivery usually 3-4 times per week from the Christopher St location. It's not the most delicious food in NYC, but for low fat, low carb, high protein, it's AMAZING. They arrive in under 30 mins 97% of the time, and the food is pretty consistent. I love it AND I'm skinny!!!!! Go for the Lean Joe with Ostrich or the Parmigana Wrap with Meatloaf Get a side of mixed veg's and spray on some "I can't believe it's not butter" spray.... HEAVEN. Skinny HEAVEN

Good for ordering in
Order from them frequently. It's nothing amazing but tasty given the health factor. They are generally at my place in 30mins or less.

Mediocre At Best
I order from Energy Kitchen every so often. Their service and food preparation seems to always be inconsistent. I've ordered from them several times where the order was made wrong. On top of that, their delivery service is slow & poor. Be prepared to wait 45 min. to an hour.
