Yummy food
I did end up trying the lamb chops wrapped in bacon and it was so yummy! I could have had 10 of those. I had the salmon dinner which was just okay. My friend had the porterhouse pork chops and that tasted way better than my salmon. I would definitely go back however I have to ask to reserve a corner seat. The tables are too close to each other. Its like you are sitting on a table bench with everyone and it is hard for the person sitting inward to get out.

definitely going back for more
being a bit of a jaded new yorker, it can sometimes take a lot to impress me, but in all honesty, this was one of the most fun nights i've had in quite some time. from start to finish, our night was a total success. the food was excellent. the drinks were inventive and tasty. the service was totally on point. and the overall energy of the place was incredible. the employees of employees only seem to have the most fun restaurant jobs out there. being a past restaurant worker, i know how easy it is to be annoyed by pesky customers, but these guys handle themselves with the most positive attitudes and seem to take everything in stride. and they even seem to be having fun while doing it. just an overall great experience. the only downside is that it's not the largest place out there. luckily, we had thought to call ahead and book a table for dinner. had we not done so, we could have been in store for a long (yet totally worth it ) wait. this place rocks! will definitely be back sooner than later.

Excellent Food and Service
Two of us arrived at dinner on Saturday night (8/7/2010) @ 9pm. Everything about the place was excellent. We ordered drinks, a "Quiet Storm" and a "Pimm's Cup" that were both expertly made. For appetizers we had the bone marrow poppers and the days special which was watermelon, tomato and mint under bacon. Both were delicious. For dinner I had the Salmon and my date had the Trout. Both were exceptional ... dishes were licked clean. For dessert we shared the decadent dark chocolate and sour cherry cake. Our waitress, Inga, was attentive and friendly and willing to offer suggestions, that proved to be perfect. This was one of my best nights out for dinner in a long time.

Embarrassed for them...
The staff of this restaurant should be embarrassed. Someone in our group complained about a steak and we were harassed for the remaining 45 minutes of our meal, culminating in the chef jumping over me onto the table to grab said food. This place is indeed for employees only, in that the staff doesn't have a clue how to treat the public.

Loves it!
The food and the drinks are so yummy and for the price I was shocked. Definitely crowded in there but my boy friend said that's how you know it's good! Will be going back for more!

Love the Steak Tartare
They make it right at the table and so it varies from person to person but it's usually pretty good to excellent. It can be a little annoying at times with the crowds. Just come when it isn't that busy.
