Finally Some Great Chinese
I have been craving my chinese place in Williamsburg ever since I moved to the 90's on the UES. I have probably tried half a dozen spots (and there aren't THAT many to try). They have all been pretty disappointing and I was about to lose faith that I could ever satisfy my chinese cravings until I ordered from Empire Wok. The woman that took my order was so sweet, patient, and I could understand her and vice versa. She even called me dear....so sweet. Delivery was fast and the food was delicious. I'm excited to FINALLY have a "my chinese place" and am starting to NOT regret my move into Manhattan. Have no fear, if you're looking for some yummy chinese order from here....Love the fact that they're open until 1 and 2am!

Really surprised!
I ordered from this place last night and it was a delight. The food was delivered very fast and the order was complete and correct. For the amount of food I got the price was great. I will definitely order from this place again.

Best Chinese in NYC!
I've never written a review on Menu Pages before, but the reason I decided to write my first, and potentially only review, is actually quite selfish... I am so addicted to this place, because the food is so amazing, that I'm trying to drum up more business for them. That's because if they went under, you might see me climbing off the 59th St Bridge with weights on my ankles. Seriously, just give Empire Wok a try and you will never go anywhere else again...

Great Lunch Specials
Great Chinese food. The lunch specials are very cheap, and you get a lot of food. They taste great and are worth the money. Always fast delivery. Substitutions to orders are always repeated back, and order is always delivered hot. Great place for fast delivery and great food!

Always good
This place is never, but never a disappointment. The food is always delicious and always delivered in a timely and expedient manner. I’ve traveled the world seeking gourmet options and when it comes down to it, good old fashioned American style Chinese food the likes of which you get here at E-Dub cant be beat. I unreservedly, unabashedly, unconditionally, uninhibitedly endorse this restaurant.

Now is the time to try something new...
...is what my fortune said. And I'm glad I did. Still in mourning over the closing of the First Wok on 78th, I have spent the last 8 months in a take-out orgy of unfulfilling one-night stands and shameful nooners trying to find a worthy successor. But I have now met that special someone. So goodbye Great Wall, ta ta Tang Tang, see ya Szechuan Delight, ciao Charlie Mom, heave ho Hunan Delight, later Lili'swell you get the idea. Empire Wok, you can ring my bell anytime.

So freaking good
I got food from here on saturday and I have to say it was so good. Im not talking artisan chinese food infused with pomegranite oil good, Im talking flat out delicious american style pseudo chinese food satisfaction. The vegetable fried rice was superb, the dumplings (which as far as chinese restaurants go run a risk of having at least one gross element to them) were perfect and the scallion pancake was beyond reproach. Also, as a side note, the time between ordering and delivery was AT MOST ten minutes and the cost was less than $20.
