    delivery driver

Food is basic and if you stick to the same items it is not bad. The service is horrible though. I have eaten in and had food delivered a few times. Very rude people. I wish there was another place for pad thai in Washington heights.

Delivery -a ton of tasty food for cheap

I've ordered delivery from here twice in the past week because it's a great deal and the food- at least the Chinese food- tastes well above average in my opinion. With a $10 order you get to choose among several sides for a freebie - like cold spicy noodles, wontons, california roll, and other stuff. So if you order two lunches for under $6 each you get the lunches and all that comes with those - egg roll & soup & rice, and the free side. You can live on all that food all week. I'm a fan of the Ginger Chicken. The cold noodles are very good too.

    Not Recommended

Went to Empire for lunch recently with my family. Ordered basic stuff: Lo Mein, Chinese Broccoli, Ma Po Tofu. The Lo Mein was ok. The tofu was literally ice cold and the sauce was a glutinous mass of brown cornstarch missing many of the customary ingredients of Ma Po Tofu. The 'Chinese Broccoli' was not Chinese Broccoli at all but the American sort in garlic sauce. When we asked for replacements the waitress was angry and rude. The replacement dishes were mediocre, and the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Your mileage may vary, but we will not be eating there again any time soon.

    Subpar sushi

I do not recommend the sushi here. I made the mistake once, I could not even call it sushi. I couldn't eat it. It did not taste good and was really small. Not so sure about the Chinese food.. though the take-out is pretty fast, but maybe that's why its so poor.

    Very Good

Very good Chinese food here. Quick delivery too. My girlfriend loves the place and she's super picky about her food so that's saying something. I recommend it to all.

Only reason I survive the Heights

This place actually has pretty good Chinese food and sushi! It makes a huge difference to me, since they make some amazing steamed vegetables and other generally healthy options.
