Great service, great food and delivery service is excellent also
Highly recommend its vegetarian menu. I live in the Bronx and they deliver here also. We had a large order on Mother's Day; they said it would take an hour and they were exact. My family and I love this place.

NO!
i ordered from here a year ago, and then again tonight. the food was inedible, flavorless, soggy. the ONLY thing i actually ate was the white rice, everything else was THAT unappetizing. the packaging was messy, all the sauces spilled. there were no utensils, napkins or duck sauce packets. the delivery man stepped INTO my apartment when i opened the door! not ok! overall poor experience i will not be ordering from this place again. ever.

Really good!
Agree with others and had the cold noodles/sesame and moo shoo pork. The moo shoo especially was excellent. Very fresh, good spice level and large portions. I was very impressed!

Not Recommended
The lunch specials are decently priced, but the quality is no better than any of the bulletproof Chinese joints nearby. Recently, I ordered delivery (which took an hour) and got an order of juicy buns and seafood wonton soup. You'd think in this neighborhood that you'd be able to get a good order of juicy buns, but these were half the size of what you can get at an authentic Chinese restaurant downtown. The seafood wonton soup was overloaded with noodles and didn't feature any seafood other than the small amount that was inside the doughy wontons.

This USED to be a great restaurant
I used to go to this restaurant regularly and would order at least once a week. It has been over a year and I placed a rather large order of sushi (something they USED to do fairly well) Not only was the sushi considerably expensive, but the fish was not fresh (it was pretty dry) and I should have ordered vegetarian rolls and saved money because that is basically what I received! (They used ONE small shrimp for an entire roll) The rice was ice cold, therefore making the sushi ice cold and we could barely eat it. Oh, did I mention that in one of our platters they literally gave me ONE piece of ginger? I called them to let them know that they had just lost a customer that had been going to them for over 16 years and the manager didn't seem to care one way or the other.

Good option for Vegetarians
In a neighborhood with few 'creative' options for vegetarians, Empire Szechuan has an expansive selection of 'mock' meats on their menu that are quite good; the vegetarian 'chicken' is my favorite. I usually order from here for takeout, and while the operator(s) can often be curt, overall the customer service is fine & efficient. The delivery time isn't bad, and the delivery guys are always friendly. The only criticism I have is their prices, for this neighborhood they are a bit pricey, though the portions are also large & you can easily make two meals out of one delivery.

What's going on with this resturant!
I made an order and the woman gets rude with me. Totally took away my appetite to even not eat or enjoy the food. I mean this happens every time I give a chance to this restaurant. The quality of the food changes and this is from someone who has ordered from more then 10 years. Will never order again.
