    Not recommended

Worst ever. Took ninety minutes to deliver two entrees; costed $30; was cold, greasy, overly salty and unbelievably greasy.

    Empire State of Mind

Guys, guys, guys. Where to begin? I see alot of reviews touting Empire's Japanese food. While it's true that you can get a good deal on sushi at Empire, the Chinese food is their strong suit. Their moo shu is as god intended it. Their ginger chicken is to die for. Come to think of it, any of their Chef's Specials is fantastic. They have excellent Vegan/Vegetarian options as well. The vegetarian duck is lovely, as is the vegetarian pork moo shu. There is a free coupon for sesame noodles/1 california roll on every take-out menu, and they never collect the coupon. So basically, free sesame noodles with every order. Yes, the staff can be a bit unhelpful. Yes, the ambiance could be improved. But fantastic Schezuan on the Upper West Side? Free sesame noodles with delivery? A glass of complimentary (granted, for a reason) wine at the restaurant? What's not to love?

Delivery moves at a glacial pace...

This is the first time I've ever left a review in my life but felt compelled to after ordering lunch today. DO NOT order from this place unless you do not want to eat for an hour from initial call. I placed a lunch order today and 45 mins later decided to call the restaurant to ask where my food was. I live on 105th and they are located on 100th street. Finally 10 mins later some older guy came to my door, demanding a tip and was rude. Needless to say, the sushi was warm and unedible. Please, save your money and learn from my mistake. DONT order from here.. There is a reason why there are several complaints about delivery time on this site.

Best take Szechuan on the uws

Only order a few things from here but what they are always perfect, fresh and so tasty. We just have the take out, but it is the best take out szechuan near 90 on columbus ave. The purple moon is to die for, it's that good! I'm also a fan of the cheaky chicken ( a real treat).

    Great for vegetarians!

This place has a great selection of vegetarian faux meat dishes, the kind you usually have to go to Chinatown to find. All the vegetarian soups are great, the Sweet and Sour "Pork" and the "Chicken" With "Prawns" are terrific. It's a great place for vegetarians and non-vegetarians to dine together and all get what they want.
