Great Steak, Great Service
I found this place on menupages looking for a good steakhouse close to where we had to be for an event the same night. I had a Prime Rib that when it came was huge! My wife had Chicken and pasta. Both were delicious and the waiters and staff were very nice and always asking if everything is ok etc. etc. We didn't order apps or there would be no way we could have finished the large portion dinner. Even with that my wife took home half of her meal. We were well taken care of. Can't wait to go back!

Restaurant week
I came here for Restaurant Week, what a surprise; there were several options. I opted for the sirloin, it was cooked exactly the way I like for it to be cooked. The sides were incredible, as were the starters and the finisher - dessert. I went with their special wine they were promoting for Restaurant Week. If you haven't been here, hurry ....service was just as good as the menu.

great steak
We went to Empire steak house for restaurant week dinner. The food was excellent, service was slow, the atmosphere was very nice and overall we had a great time. The Sirloin steak was unbelievable; the ousters for appetizer were great. The special wine for restaurant week promotion was very good also. We will definitely go back again.

Hospitable
I find this to be a hidden gem. The waitstaff was incredibly hospitable, which I loved just as much as the food. If you haven't been here, you should make it a point to be there.

So yum
This restaurant is one of a kind. Even though it's a steakhouse, I ordered their lobster ravioli special and my boyfriend had the filet mignon. we couldn't get enough of this surf and turf concoction. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to come back to ny to have dinner at Empire.

NYCs great steakhouses
I've been to Empire Steak House on numerous occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The steaks are incredible. What separates Empire from all the other steakhouses is the service. I have been going there since they opened and noticed that they treat everyone the same way, like their best friend. I strongly recommend Empire for the food and service.

Minor League Steakhouse in the City of Major League Steakhouses
I gave Empire a try and that's all it'll get. I felt I was walking into a plain ol' restaurant and not a real NY steakhouse (ie. Sparks, Peter Lugers, Club A...etc). My advice: Get Real and you'll attract more customers on a Friday night...Bottom line: Steak was OK, portions were sub par, atmosphere weak... Only positive was the friendly waiter.
