A very nicely appointed restaurant, with servers who are attentive and friendly. The meats smelled fresh and the veggies were bright and crunchy. The broth for our Hot Pot/Shabu/Shabu was Very flavorful! I could have taken a quart home to have by itself! lol My main peeve --- there was no condiments bar! I felt it would have made a notable difference in the shabu experience for diners. With that said - I will definitely return!

this place isnt really eating unless you come during lunch. if you come during dinner you will most likely be forced to eat something that costs $10 more a person. the food isnt exceptional. i think the appetizers ALL taste better than the entrees itself. dont even bother ordeirng entrees. just try the whole appetizer list. most people come here to hotpot and that can usually cost a fortune. and you'll prob leave with an empty stomach. their drinks are okay (tapioca). might as well go next door to the bakery on the corner and pay less for it. much less. they were really nice to my table though because during dinner once, we were the last to leave and they gave us free cake....?.... i think it was bc they had leftover from a bday celebration....and didnt wana eat it....odd.... but it was nice. the waitstaff is usually very friendly but not so helpful in explaining the foods. i prob wont be back for a long time, since there arent many options unless you hotpot. and that i never tried here so i cant comment on it. but i think quicklys down the block is cheaper.

Quality of the meat, seafood and vegetables is very good. Unfortunately, they don't have any interesting or tasty dipping sauces, just basic soy sauce with grated dikon and blah white grounded sesame sauce. Blah, what a waste!
