Great Pub
We were seeing Jersey Boys around the corner so my wife saw a review about the onion soup and had to go. Not a big fan of onion soup but ordered it anyway. I am now a huge fan of onion soup but I will have to go into Manhatten to O'lunneys to get it. The Guinness and shepherds pie completed the meal. Give it a try you can't go wrong.

Loved it
I have walked by this place hundreds of times and never gave it a second thought because i thought it was just a tourist trap off Broadway. Took my visiting mom there for dinner and it was great. Food was delicious, great beer selection and huge bar area. Will definitely give this place a try again.

Irish Onion Soup....YUMMMO!
Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff...who as others have pointed out welcomed us in off the street! Was nervous about the creamy onion soup (as I am a fan of the French version) but it was THE BEST! Am planning to meet friends from Utah in the city in a few days and this is where we are eating...great food, great portions and great pricing!

Really good bartender, great food
We thought this was the best value near Times Square. Fair pricing- we had lunch there Friday, I had a Cuban Pannini and soup, very tasty corn and seafood chowder. We stopped back late Sunday for a beer and barfood, the quesadilla were nice and I had some more soup! Cream of broc- very unique. GREAT bartender, right there with things, very succinct. All in all, I can't think of anything bad about the place, it was much better than I expected in a tourist section of midtown.

GREAT PLACE TO GO
Four of us ate here for lunch before a show. Three people had the chicken pot pie-it was wonderful The pie was full of chicken and vegetables with a wonderful creamy sauce and tender flaky pastry top. I had the steak sandwich-tender and cooked just the way I asked for it!! The service was great, as was the atmosphere.

Will definitely return
Ate here tonight before going to a 7 PM play. Arrived at about 4:30 and was promptly seated. The hostess was great. Service was really good considering the place was hopping. My husband had the Shepherd's Pie and said he would order it again. I had the chicken special with spinach in a lemon/white wine garlic sauce. I would order mine again as well. We are hard to please as I taught cooking for 35 years and studied cooking at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Just realize this is not gourmet dining but for good food, service and value, I would recommend it. We will definitely return. PS The bathrooms were really clean as well.

Great Irish Bar
We were looking at the outside menu when the host told us to come in out of the cold. He told us the food was good as well as the drinks. We had tickets to the "Jersey Boy" play and the resturant was only a few blocks away. The Charcoal Burger was very tasty as well as the Mediterrian Cod. Tamita was our waitress and she was very friendly and she always made sure our drinks were refilled and always checked up on us. Please try their chocolate mousse cake, it was heavenly. We definitely will go back.
