Elora's is hands down my favorite restaurant. I have been coming here for about 10 years now. Their food is consistently good...lots of options to choose from and huge portions. Drinks are fantastic...you will be stumbling out of there. A real neighborhood place...the staff truly treats their patrons like family. I have nothing bad to say about Elora's. I joke all the time that I am going to have my wedding reception here. If you haven't tried it yet you don't know what you're missing and you should go asap!

I have been going to Elora's for quite some time now and am beyond satisfied every time I go. The wait staff is extremely friendly and warm and they let you sit and chat with your party for as long as you would like (unlike a lot of other restaurants that hover over your table making you want to leave). The salsa is the best around and is free and replaced as quickly as you can eat it! I can't say I have a favorite dish because I love to switch it up. All the portions are big and taste great (very imp. to a foodie like myself). The margaritas are delicious/homemade and they don't skimp on the tequila!

This is a great place for meeting with friends and just enjoying a Tex-Mex meal. Park Slope itself is getting to be a pricey neighborhood and so I think the prices are appropriate. As for service, I think it is great that when we walk in they remember us and great us. The food is good and I don't remember the service being slow, but who cares doesn't everyone go for the Margarita's and atmosphere. It just gives you a longer time with friends and family. This is a gem and I recommend it to everyone.

The reviewers on this site are either totally deluded or have no taste buds. This food is at best bland, we ordered a combination platter consisting of a chicken taco, shrimp and chicken tostada and a chicken enchalada. When the food arrived almost 50 mins later it had little flavor and was smothered in cheese. Basic condiments like salsa were missing and everything had the same "muddy" bland flavor. There are plenty of mexican options in Park slope and in future I will be steering well clear of this place.

i love the shrimp enchilada, and the cheese enchilada... and the beef and chicken tacos, and everything else! the hot sauce and salsa are also excellent. Must try!

I've been going to Elora's since high school and it is by far the best tex-mex you will ever get. Their food is great. The lemon chicken is TO DIE FOR. They are getting a bit pricey but I am a loyal customer. The margaritas will have you stumbling out the door and so will the red or white sangria (both delicious). The waitstaff is excellent and they know myself and my friends so well that we get greeted with a smile and "how are you" everytime we step in. I've never been unhappy with the waitstaff. They are wonderful. Overall, great place...you MUST try.

This is a great place to go with a group (10 people or a little more) They will seat you in the back and the way it is set u can get drunk on Sangria and eat lovely food and have a great time. That being said.... If you come in as a couple or small party.. Don't sit in the back! the food is plentiful and delicious. We learned early on to share dishes because if everyone orders an entree on their own there i stoo much food. They will pack it up for you if there is left overs. The burittos are great. I like the seafood a lot.. Not on Sunday (as every native Nyer knows because the market is closed from early fri to mon morning) Generic beer list... cheap house wine.Open fairly late.. Try it!!
