Stumbled accross this wonderfully fun resturant while on holiday in New York. Well worth the effort of getting there for the great atmosphere. The food is pretty good too. Make the effort when going to Broadway to watch a show, you wont regret it!

What an incrdible disappointment. I was expecting great food with generous servings, but got a cheeseburger on an old stale bun, with ten, (count'em) ten greasy, sloppy French Fries. My Grandson ordered what was supposed to be pizza, but it looked and tasted more like cardboard with Romano cheese warmed in a microwave oven! No kidding. Throw in a cup of coffee and the bill comes to $26.40. Don't forget the receipt asking for the customary 18% tip, not that it's the waiter's fault. Stay away from here.

I have to tell you that this is not the place to go if your looking for good fresh food at a reasonable price! At least it wasn't on my recent visit on 5/24/04 for some breakfast at 10:00 AM. I have been in the food service industry for years and perhaps that makes me a little less tolerant, but I really don't think that was the case here. I also live on the coast of Maine and recognize when a restaurant doesn't really give a crap for the tourists but are only waiting for you to pay the check and send you on your way. I really felt taken by this place! My wife ordered the "homemade hash" that was obvoiusly from a can (i have been making my own for years and this was not it). The menu said crispy, when in fact we could have used a straw to suck it up! The eggs were bad as well. My french toast was greasy & gross. The toast was like a damn crouton dipped in oil.I was actually actually served deep fried sausage! The silver lining was my sons pancakes, they were OK! We did have to wait a good 5 minutes for someone to bring us the syrup and butter for them though (hello? it's pancakes and french toast). 1/2 filled cups of coffee with 2 creamers at a time and a single sweetener packet rounded off a completely sucky meal. I can't stand asking for coffee everytime I get close to the bottom of the cup which this time actually had grounds through it. I was tempted to complain but was too pissed so I plopped down my 40.00!!! for this mess and left. Oh yeah, and No Singin'! Please know I am not a whacko, just someone who doesn't like being played. Once bitten.......

tried this after recommendation from a friend - went monday morning - pouring with rain - only a few people in there but good decor the waitress was friendly but not singing! the food was ok but to be fair we had had a huge meal the night before and were not really hungry but could imagine it would be better later on with the singing waitresses

This is a very fun and entertaining place to go to if you are in the city for a play or if you're just around the area. The food is good, especially if you go for dessert and the entertainment (the waiters and waitresses singing) is really fun.

The tables were too close together, the food was mediocre and overpriced, and every time the door opened we were treated to a gust of cold air. All in all, a less than stellar experience.

This was a fun breakfast experience. Food was fairly good and the prices were good as well. The atmosphere is fun and the singing waiters/waitresses very good at singing, although they could use a few more just for the waiting on tables. All in all we enjoyed our breakfast and would probably return.
