Best cobb salad!
I absolutely love their Cobb salad and tomato soup. Whenever I work from home I almost always order this for lunch. Fresh and delicious. Best part, try deliver to greenpoint

the price isn't right
the menu priced their two eggs and cheese breakfast sandwich @ $4.50. I simply ordered a breakfast sandwich with only two eggs, but was charged the $4.50 (after tax it was $4.90). I handed the cashier a $10 and got a $5 back. not only was I overcharged, but I got short-changed. the cashier had only a smile and no logical response to my pricing concerns. twenty minutes later, when my sandwich order was ready, I asked if this was my over-priced breakfast sandwich. the response I got was, "yes, have a nice day". save your money and time -buy a box of cereal, and stay away from Ella.

Great organic place -- gets a bad rap.
I go here really often, and also get delivery really often (maybe 3 times/week). There's some items on the menu that are pretty unappetizing -- like the home fries, and the omelets aren't fluffy like i'd prefer, but for the price, and for serving high quality organic food, this place is pretty awesome. The burgers are grassfed and great, the salmon is consistently delicious, and they make an amazing egg salad sandwich. Sides of rice, mashed potatoes, and asparagus are also great. You can also get fresh organic juice in an eco friendly cup. Their juices are consistently the best in the neighborhood (and i've tried every place that makes fresh juice). I think their service used to be spotty, but has been really good for me lately for delivery and in the restaurant. overall, there's so few organic eco conscious restaurants at this price point, so i'm glad ellas is here.

No go.....
My girlfriend had a flight to catch so I thought I could grab a quick egg wrap for us both. I ordered 2 egg wraps and some fries (not home fries).....This apparently threw them off. 25 minutes later they handed over a bag with the wraps an told me I had to wait on the fries... In short: the egg wraps looked like someone held a tortilla in their hand scooped some a miniscule amount of egg in and squished it in their fist..no folding wrapping or rolling...and it was smaller that than half of most wraps in the neighborhood. The fries seemed to have been boiled in old grease...not fried. Very disappointing. And slow.

Good but slow
20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich = way too long to wait. It's a nice neighborhood joint with tasty organic treats, but service is slow. Though that seems to be par for the course in Williamsburg.

Why does the restroom always smell of urine?
The food is great, the service is good - i wanna make this a regular haunt - but why is it that the restroom is always so stinky? Please Ella - sort it out so I can eat in your lovely restaurant again.

not so great
i was excited to try this place, when i did i was not so excited. the service is disappointing. the host was not pleasant or welcoming the waitress simply took order and put food in front of me leaving me to ask the bus boy for any specific request. the dirty tables all over the restaurant left me wondering if they were understaffed or if someone just didn't show up for work. on the bright side the food was decent and the price point is good for what you get. i say order and skip the "restaurant" experience.
