The food is great, the service is good - i wanna make this a regular haunt - but why is it that the restroom is always so stinky? Please Ella - sort it out so I can eat in your lovely restaurant again.

i was excited to try this place, when i did i was not so excited. the service is disappointing. the host was not pleasant or welcoming the waitress simply took order and put food in front of me leaving me to ask the bus boy for any specific request. the dirty tables all over the restaurant left me wondering if they were understaffed or if someone just didn't show up for work. on the bright side the food was decent and the price point is good for what you get. i say order and skip the "restaurant" experience.

Come here for lunch most days and the lunch special is very satisfying. the atmosphere is a bit bland but the outdoor looks pretty exciting. they could use some specials but everything i've had has been really good.

Some items they have are great and some are subpar. When they miss, it is really [ppr. Go for the egg salad sandwich, the Mediterranean salad for good. Stay way from the tofu lasagna. Also, their soups are sometimes great and sometimes unappetizing. I order lunch from here on a regular basis because it is one of the only places I know that has simple, organic food that delivers, but I have to be very cautious with my selection. I wish they would get it together and figure it out. They are so close but their inconsistency is a real problem.

I don't frequent Brooklyn that often but when I do I always go to Ella's. It's a nice break from the so-so restaurants in my neighborhood in Manhattan. I find the food to be really delicious...talipia fish sticks are awesome and the steak sandwich here is great. The waitstaff is very friendly and the atmosphere in general is very welcoming. It's not fine dining or anything like that, but it's a great neighborhood joint. If I lived in BK, I'd be a regular for sure!

this is the best they can do? the whole table service, ordering at counter confusion is super annoying. a place of this size doesn't need waitresses and they don't even do anything anyway, so why bother? the food is bland and expensive and i won't go back. i like the idea of it and i eat organic all the time, but i can cook a lot better than they can.

I really like this place, now if the service was better it would be great. I love to sit outside and enjoy a coffee, but it is very annoying when I see the wait staff standing by the counter talking while I wait, its frustrating. The coffee is great and desserts are really yummy! So if you have time, try it out but if you are impatient don't go!
