    I'm still hungry

They just DO NOT serve enough food at this place. I left hungry and angry. Go somewhere else!

    Torturous experience

The food is overrated. Nothing special, and very overpriced. They serve fish&chips, call it something fancy and charge $17 for this greasy appetizer! The service is agonizingly slow (I was pregnant when I went there, and waited a good 10 minutes before the waiter or bus boy even showed up). It's a very cramped up atmosphere - the tables are so close together, you can't have a normal conversation and you really feel like a sardine). I would never go back.

Great spot, they do what they do well.

Look, it's not Babbo... but nothing else is either. Elio's is a great place with a good staff. The food is always reliable and I have found it easy to go there for both business and pleasure meals. Their specials can be hit/miss but their menu standards are always excellent. Great spot to eat at the bar. Better than Campagnola, Scalinatella and others in this genre in in opinion.

    The poorest dining experience ever!

Food over rated and over priced. Arrogant waiters, uncomfortable seating and miniature drinks...glasses a joke! A torturous experience just to be seen with the wannabees and the jaded "celebs" The owners are laughing at you...not with you... as they serve salty and sub optimal food.

    mediocre

Not sure what the attraction here is. The food is seriously mediocre at best and outrageously overpriced. I'm sure the logic most people use is that if they are spending $200+ on dinner for 2, the food is superior. Not here. If you're looking for an excellent restaurant, do more research. The City has thousands more to chose from. Staff is friendly & efficient though.

    Good food but tacky people.

The food is very good but be prepared for an obnoxious crowd. If you enjoy being surrounded by a bunch tacky people with bad plastic surgery then go.
