No wonder they won the James Beard award for service this past year! I am greeted like an old friend even by the coat check staff! It is one of the most stunning restaurant spaces in NY. Good for business, good for romance, good for a special meal with pals. That is the Danny Meyer touch...it suits everyone. As for the food, excellent, although I think the fish outshines the beef every single time. Dressing on salads were a bit heavy...Any type of flan that Chef Kerry creates is always worth getting. I can't wait for the seasonal spring pea flan. As for desserts, go for the very generous cookie/cake platter. Enough to share for at least 2, and even 4 as a tasting platter when you don't want a heavy ending to your meal.

Bring that special someone here and you'd definitely make an impression on them. It's decorated elegantly with a great romantic atmosphere!

We have been to 11 Madison Park a number of times when we visit NYC. Each experience has been terrific! The staff, the chef, the managers treat you like royalty! The food is outstanding! Compared to all the restaurants we have visited this is the one that is consistently outstanding in all respects! And ask for Ryan, the manager! He's so welcoming!

Lunch during restaurant week was superb. Even more than the delicious food, particularly the lentil flan, there was a generosity and appreciation for the patrons. Three wonderful courses with choices and good wine for the unheard of price of $5.00 a glass. At the end a gift of wrapped chocolate and a discount card for future dining was offered. Additionally, the head chef walked around and welcomed everyone. This was the exact oposite of my experience at Chanterelle, where nothing, including the food, made me feel special. I will definitely return to 11 Madison Park where I did feel very special.

Last night my husband and I had dinner for restaurant week here and we were really unimpressed with the food. The selection was not great and we felt rushed through the meal. For appetizers I had the grilled squid salad which was ok and my husband had the lentil souffle and found the bacon was fatty. The main course was fair. We both had the meat which tasted like a pot roast. The desserts and bread were the highlights. We had heard such wonderful things about the restaurant but would not consider it again.

Every part of the meal was great and we had extras - the cheese puffs were amazing and the extra fudge and candies - rivals Chanterelle - we had to wait to be seated even though on time and the dining room empty. Service was not of the same standard as Tabla and Gramercy Tavern - the wait staff was not as knowledgeable - Great Alternative in atmosphere to the other restaurants in Danny Meyer's restaurant group.

Friendly serivce, good food. The cheddar rolls are a treat. My key lime tart with berries was really wonderful.
