    ordered delivery

wow. i ordered roast pork with a side of rice and beans. to say the portions are "generous" is an understatement. and for six dollars too! basically, you know your average circular containers? they fill it to the top with rice. another container for the pork, and then a smaller one for the beans. everything's really tasty. i also, suffering from starvation and stress, ordered a cuban sandwich for 4 dollars. it was huge, and delicious. cheese, ham, slices of pork, pickles. add tomato and lettuce for only 50 cents extra. i then ordered two cans of soda, whole thing came out to 12 bucks. no tax added :) delivery was prompt. people on the phone were friendly. needless to say i had more than enough for leftovers! A++ since i ordered via delivery, i'm putting in a 3 for atmosphere since that is what the current score is.

    What a Deal!

This little treasure is an excellent find. The portions are unbelievable and the price is amazing. The family that owns it is as sweet as anything, and you will love their authenticity.

If you like Cuban, you"ll love Dominican

I am Dominican and this is the only place downtown that has authentic Dominincan Food. Even my mom would be proud. Yo, the Mondongo is the great but my favorite dish is the Bistec Encebollado (skirt steak with Onion). I can't believe the prices, but don't tell them so that they stay low.

    A Cultural Gem

I am an MBA student with little time for cooking and little money to spend. I stop by here all the time on my way home from NYU. The service is great and the food is delicious. Try the Rice & Beans with Beef. The roasted chicken is great as are the Empanadas. They also have fast delivery.

    Diamond in the ruff

I live in the neighborhood so i go here quite often. Its a very small family run business that offers a great variety of food and affordable prices. Recently the oldest son started running the place and i must say he immedialty brought great change. Fresh Jukebox for a range of spanish music, tradional spanish american food. the Caramofongo Dish was a crazy good idea..everyone should try it
