I expected more
Food delivery took an hour from 5 blocks away very pricy for a small amount of food

Feels like Home!
This place is great if your looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some good food. The staff takes time to make sure your getting helped, even if their english isn't too good, and you cannot beat the price for the portions! Give it a try!

Best Steak Sandwich from Dominican Upper West Side Restaurants
Steak sandwich is the best you will find around here. Morir Sonando is best as well. Great price.

delivery is a great value!
I've never eaten in, but I've ordered from there a few times, and everytime it has been a great experience. The portions are large, so the prices end up being pretty cheap compared to the sizes. Delivery service is quick as well. The only thing I can't comment on is the communication - I haven't ordered myself (my Spanish-speaking roommate ordered), so I don't know how well their English is.

Can't beat their lunch special
When you eat there you get less in the $5 lunch special so take it to go. Beef stew and baked pork are the best. The cod fish isn't bad either. The staff is willing to work with you if you don't speak spanish (which I don't) and they always get everything the way I want it. I've always found a table when I wanted to dine in. And have had dinner there a few times where the prices were much different. So go for lunch. Really can't complain.

Felt like I was invited to Sunday dinner
No frills atmosphere with lively music and friendly staff and even friendly customers. Food was hearty and good, perfect fro a cold evening. Steak sandwiches and soups were big enough for two. Was allowed to take stuff home, no problem. Totally enjoyable find. It's not in my neiborhood but will definitely make the extra travel efforts to return.
