Most people come here to order the Daily Double Lobster. Something not well know is that El Quijote has some of the best steak in Manhattan, even better than the highly touted (and more expensive) steakhouses. Last week I had the Porterhouse steak for $26. Fantastic. Perfectly medium-rare, with a delicious crust, and excellent Prime meat, with all the extras. My wife had the lobster and loved it, but the steak is something else. You will be surprised at how good it is, the chef knows a thing or two about grilling meat. El Quijote has very good chorizo too, and I've sometimes come in and had the chorizo sandwich for a very satisfying, cheap lunch. Don't neglect the other things on the menu. They can do more than lobster.

My husband and I were thrilled with every aspect of El Quijote! The service, food and ambiance were beyond our expectations. We are native New Yorkers & know "great" when we experience it! One of the greatest compliments I can pay El Quijote is ~ everything we ordered was of the highest quality! Clams Quijote, Paella, Garlic Soup, "I cleaned each plate." All of the dishes we ordered were fabulous & the best thing about it was ~ no greasy plate or food! That is exceptional ~ especially when you eat Paella! Oh - the desserts...A+ What my husband found surprising - I usually drink cocktails, even w/dessert - It was the 1st time I changed my mind - I tasted my husband's coffee & called the waiter over & ordered not 1 but 2 cups! I've never had coffee like theirs! I'm drooling with anticipation ... for this Saturday when I enter into Quijote's Paradise once again!

The atmosphere was spectacular, the food was deliectible and I thought scences like this only happen in movies. Not cheap per se, but the price of food for the quality and quantity was less then expected in Manhattan. The Sangria was delish! Good food, good times and great memories, once you experience it you'll keep coming back!

There is nothing like it, true Spanish food, waiters, atmosphere and the clams in green sauce is the best appetizer EVER. My friends and I go and get the lobster special and a pitcher of the greatest sangria, and so not expensive!

El Quijote reataurant was one of the first restaurant I viisited in NYC. When I met my husband he always chose El Quijotte for special occassions, such as my birthdays, valentines, and even my girl friends birthdays. It's great food, excellent service, as well as warm atmosphere made us to choose that wonderful place to celebrate our wedding. You are simply The Best!

There are many great Spanish seafood restaurants in New York City, but there is only one above the rest - El Quijote! The staff, atmosphere, service and food is the best anyone can ask for. Oh, and the Sangria is great too! This is the 2nd time I've been to this restaurant for Valentine's Day and I love it. I even took a few of their business cards and matches and gave them to my friends. If you are ever in the mood for tasty Spanish seafood like Paella (and they offer a variety), El Quijote is the place for you!
