we went as a party of 5 for a birthday dinner. From the beginning the waiter was outstanding bringing us different wines to taste before ordering and making excellent suggestions. We ordered several tapas and then 3 entrees and desserts to share. The food was really good and reasonably priced. They they have a lovely bar to sit at as well, and the service excellent. Try the skirt steak, veal meatballs and flan.

just enjoy the food and think all the people serving you as your family members because they make you feel like one

Nothing bad to say about this place. Have gone a couple times and have tried most of the things on the tapas menu, nothing we didn't like. The wine list is great. Our new favorite spot...

The food is really good here. The albondigas (veal meatballs) and pollo con pisto tapas were great; the tortilla was good. The pollo al ajillo was cooked perfectly and the sauce was tasty. My only complaint is the lack of service. The bus boys have no clue. You literally have to waive someone down to get your glass filled with water and the waiters only show up to take your order. I hope they get their act together, because the food is authentic and the owners are pleasant.

At lunch yesterday I had one of the finest meals of my life. Cool restraint here is impossible. Understatement is out of the question. (Full disclosure: I am NOT related to ANYBODY at the restaurant.) If it were reasonable to write a love letter to the chef, I'd do it. If it were possible to date a meal, propose to it and marry it I'd do that, too. I have cooked a number of chicken dishes and have never achieved those famous Threes that EL PORRON has achieved here: chicken that is Truly Tender, Truly flavorful, Truly Juicy. The tapas, too, were wonderful - as was the tiger shrimp my companion was kind enough to let me sample. The service was lovely and the restaurant was dark, gleaming and beautiful. To sum up, I had a wonderful time. I think you might, too.

We had a great all-around experience at this restaurant for dinner on Christmas day. The atmosphere was just right - we had a private space while still enjoying the energy of the crowd. The beautiful Latin music added an authentic touch to the modern space, while being quiet enough to allow for conversation. We had no complaints about the food - every dish we ordered (which was many!) was excellent. The octopus was unexpectedly soft and tasty, as was the rest of the seafood. We wanted to order most things on the menu. The desserts and the cafe solo were just as good. Although pricey, it was well worth it. We plan to go back, and we recommend it to anyone who is looking for tasty tapas with a great atmosphere.

I've walked by this restaurant 100 times and, based on the decor, wanted to try it. Today was the day! The tapas we ordered (Croquetas de Pollo & Gambas Al Ajillo) were delicious and so was the Paella Valenciana we shared. Not only was the food good, but the decor soothing. The staff and owner are very nice. We had a perfect lunch!
