love el pique
i order from el pique all the time - the service is always pleasant and the delivery on time and though they recently raised prices, i still think it's a great value for the price. i love their sandwiches.

Try this first
If you live in the 155-170 st. range, off of Broadway, Amsterdam or St Nicholas, then you know that pizza places are scarce, and good ones are even rarer. El Pique is definitely the best I've found. When I first moved into my place (160 and St Nicks) one of the first nights I was there I travelled around the neighborhood looking for pizza places. I passed over Famiglia (too corporate) and eventually found El Pique. The prices were pretty standard for the area, but the pizza was definitely way better than Famiglia, and even better than I (Heart) NY Pizza. If you're in the lower end of Washington Heights, definitely do yourself a favor and try this place. There's a wide variety on the menu, the pizza is top notch (maybe the best I've had in the city), and the staff was definitely really friendly. I eat there every week, and you should too.

Good pizza joint
After being disappointed in the quality of pizza joints in the area, I went searching around and ran into this little, clean place. They have a nice variety of dishes (even some vegetarian!) ranging from the standard pizza/Italian fare to sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, breakfast platters and burgers. Since then, I've ordered from them a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. Their prices are good and they have ongoing specials and deals (try the create your own pasta). The service is good and they were nice enough to even explain a special to me over the phone that I was confused about. It's nice to have a place that's comparable to what's further downtown (and uptown for that matter) accessible to those of us in lower wash. heights (if you live in the area you know exactly what I mean) .
