Sangria!!!!
Love this place! The restaurant is really cute & the staff very attentive/friendly. Sangria was seriously the best I've ever had. Half of our party ordered from the Mexican menu & half from the Spanish menu. No one was disappointed. Prices are very reasonable.

Great Reasturant
I have been going to this place for over 20 years now and I am never disappointed with the food. Their Mexican food and their Spanish food is out of this world. Also if you like Sangria theirs cannot be beat. So if you want good food at an affordable price in a nice atmosphere El Paso is the best choice to make if you are in the village. We Live in PA now and we still try to get their as often as we can.

Not Recommended
The food at this restaurant was poor and the service was worse! After we had to wait for about an hour (and it was not crowded) for our food, we very quickly discovered that the only edible thing in the place was the tortilla chips. Avoid this place unless you're into overpriced underflavored foods.

good on the way to the movies
El Paso is a Mexican-Spanish place which can stand comparison with many other such places in the Village: it's decent food, nothing spectacular. However, they do have some interesting specials (I tried the broiled lobster), and it's a good spot on your way to one of the various independent movie theaters in the area. They have a full bar and a small outside patio, right on Houston.

Not that great
We went to El Paso for dinner last night and were really disappointed. The margaritas were poor. They were most definitely made from a mix and tasted like sweet tarts. We couldn't even drink them, which was a major bummer. The food was ok, but didn't really blow my mind. The price isn't necessarily cheap either, so it's not like your getting so-so food for super cheap.

great!
Ok, this restaurant is one of my all time favorite places to eat Mexican food. I LOVE this place. Everything about this place is worth a visit. The food is YUMMY and at very reasonable prices!! I was amazed at how much food you get for what you pay! The waiter there is always so courtious and attentive. And get this!!! Before your food comes, they load you up on chips with salsa, bread and butter, and the most tasty chicken soup ever! by the time the waiter comes with your food falling of the edges because you get so much you can barely look at it let alone eat it all. LOL. All in all I would have to say that you go any try this place out. During lunch the place is practically deserted so you have the entire restaurant to yourselves. The food is great, the service is great, and the value is amazing!! GO AND TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!
